Thanks for the video John. It was fun airsofting with you and your son earlier today. You will have to let me know when you guys go again so I can try to meet you there. -Brian
I used a bigger pull ring so I fold the ring over the head of the grenade and locks at the other end on the pin with a "click" when it passes over the crosspin and fits in 40mm pouches without worrying that the ring might snag on a branch or something.
3 years late to the party here, but did you notice any difference between the burst disks you made and the stock ones in terms of sound output? I wanted to know the difference in thickness between the two so I can work out if I should double stack them for the added "oh shit" factor.
Is the pin thing suplosed to stay there without you holding it? (0:45) because mine doesnt and i cant get it to not go off immediately after pulling the pin so it blows up in my hand.
John Lin Yeah. After I fill it with green gas I can hear the grenade leaking from the top. I did contact airsoft innovations they said to lubricate the shuttle chamber and if that doesn’t work then to take it apart and lubricate the inside and the valve stuff. Both of those methods did not work
Be sure to generously lubricate the rubber O-rings on the shuttle. That is the KEY when you hear leakage upon filling of the XL Burst with gas. Do NOT store your XL Burst with the shuttle in the "ready" position. Leave it in the position where it's emerging from the XL Burst body.
John Lin alright thanks. I did lubricate the o rings and it still leaks. I contacted AI and they said they said something might be wrong with the shuttle
