The problem I see is the “labeling”. You are “this”, you are “that” etc. Just let collectors collect! It is that simple. Whether you have 1000 figures or just 2. You are a collector period! Great video my friend!

"Collecting is your ally? I was born collecting...molded by it." LOL seriously though, I don't remember a time in my life where I wasn't collecting something. I had all the Toybiz X-Men and the Super Powers figures, etc. I would run some of those toys absolutely RAGGED. BUT...when I was done playing with them, I had a shelf in my bedroom where I would stand them all up in ranks and they would wait there until I wanted to play with them again. Comics, cards, NIB figures...you name it, I collected it. LOL I had Yu-Gi-Oh cards too lol. Exodia all day, baby. I still have all my comics from when I started getting them in the 80s. I did, back in 20015, sell off the majority of my figures and other memorabilia like cards and stuff...just got tired of moving it all around. But in the last 6 years or so I've started creeping back into active collecting. LOL and then I exploded into Hot Toys. I have way too much shit now lol.

Brick, I just love this video so much. I appreciate how respectful and direct u were in addressing the weird unnecessary toxicity that comes up in this community. What it means to collect, what we each decide to collect, that variety is fun. Like is always ok to not personally value what someone else likes but we should respect their right to enjoy what they like. I love watching so many channels that often cover figures, Lego, statues, art prints and really anything else. Sometimes its stuff I'd want to pick up and other times its not for me, but watching them is fun at least for me. Plus, the amount of time that a person has collected is just not a big deal to me outside of fun story telling, like when did u start the collecting path because its fun to hear, as our story are vary. I'd like to share a point that a manager at my job mentioned. Time in the field has value but also new hires have value, its the mix of the two plus everything in-between that makes our organization stronger. I believe its the same with collecting, Wishing every collector out there joy and success in the hobby😘

Well said! enjoy the things you enjoy doing. And don't let the negativity comments of others get under your skin. Because you know yourself what a satisfaction you get from a hobby. Hobby: an activity that you do for pleasure when you are not working...

BA, point me to a more sincere & authentic, better articulated, better summarized YT vid on the great hobby of collecting period, and I'll buy you a new HT figure!! Unfortunately you CAN'T (good for me ;). So kudos to you my friend. Your seemingly off the cuff video is MUST WATCH for folks 7 to 70, experienced to newbies, & action figure enthusiasts to COLLECTORS OF ANY ILK bud.
