Wow what collection. Such shame you can't spread them out more. But we all have the problem of SPACE. Lot of time and love gone into your collection ( not to mention money). Have to sub to you just to see the next update.
Thanks man! Been collecting since about 2010. Space has always been an issue, but luckily things do seem to be quieting down a bit due to the less frequent MCU releases and most of the classic Star Wars characters already being covered.
Serious question......I'm a collector myself of various pop culture items, lots of comics etc...... Do you ever, like me, look at your awesome collection, and think....."What's going to happen to all this after I croak?!" I'm sure you have someone to leave them to, but does it ever cross your mind? Your display is *chef's kiss*. Have a great Christmas.
Lol, I'd be lying if I said I didn't occasionally wonder that very thing. I'm not married nor do I have kids yet, so no real idea at the moment. Hope you had a great Christmas!
@@chrisnicholson2407 his neck is too long! Still watching. Now I’m seeing you get into building your own figures. So I get the vibe now. I’m at your Superman shelf rn
@@TheWolvesblood6 Ah yeah. There's a good reason for that. It's actually the original T-800 figure with the DX13 head. Different body with longer neck.
Quite an impressive collection, would you like to keep them looking good for a long time? Do what I do to protect all plastic and simulated leather etc, by using Armor All protectant, it works well but is not used on cloth. A light application can keep simulated skin and rubber flexible and in tact against aging and oxidation, it protects plastic as well.
Amazing collection, Im curious where you got the sanderson figures from. And a night king would make a great addition to the game of thrones shelf An IG-11 next to Mando too.
great collection! I have a collection about the size of yours and I've been collecting for many years as well. Just wondering how concerned are you about the pleather breaking down and maybe some of the plastics, etc? I know you mention Fury's jacket in this video. I ask, because I've started to see some issues in several of mine over the past few years. Recently, I've noticed the pants and jacket on my HT Brandon Lee Crow figure peeling off. I've had issues with other figures before myself, plus I've seen other people posting their issues as well. It's frustrating to me having to worry about stuff like that, especially with a big collection as that's some work to inspect them all regularly.
Did I mention Fury's jacket? Honestly I've never had a problem with breakdown, with the only one that has given me concern being the Art Figures Dredd due to the cheaper material. I guess I must have just gotten lucky.
Haha thanks. And yeah, unfortunately alot of these 3rd party figures become almost impossible to find once sold out. For example, ive been trying to find the Xensation Kaecelius figure from Doctor Strange for years.
Thank you! And the weight spread across the 3 detolfs it should be fine, but if you want to be more sure you can always put the detolfs on top of the best.
Wow you have a crazy amount of figures. You must have another room just to store the boxes. Only started collecting last year and have quite a few figures myself. God its so addictive , and very costly . I was going to buy the Ryan Gosling blade runner figure , but not sure , i see you have it ,what are your thoughts on it. Regards Andy
As the great John McClane once said, "Welcome to the Party Pal!" Yes it is definitely an expensive hobby, but like all hobbies also a very rewarding one. Yeah, boxes do take up a fair bit of space. I have 4 refrigerator boxes in the garage full of them. Vertical space helps! As for the Agent K figure, I love it. But it also isn't much right out of the box. I had to get a Jnix headsculpt and a body swap to make it what it was. But I loved the movie so it was a passion project.
Curious. How often do you have to dust off the figures/shelves with those air gaps on either side of the doors? I'm considering these shelves or completely sealed off options (more expensive of course)
So the regular Dark Knight batman is the shortest of all 3 by far. As for the other two, Arkham Knight and Mark 50 are about the same size to the top of the head, but Arkham Knight Batman has the ears which push it to being the tallest one.
I'm trying to start an endgame/infinity war collection but each character is like $650 and there are a LOT of them. I'm not too sure I'm gonna be able to do it but I guess I could slowly.
So I think that the Black Superman is likely, given how it would be a an easy recolor, however given the extensive tooling and new molds required for a Darkeseid it is much less likely.
@@chrisnicholson2407 thanks I wish my mom let me get a job because I really want more but luckily I’ve been picking up some side jobs to save up for another!
@@isaiahcruz5917 haha, that's how it started for me too. Saved up for a couple months to buy the original Mark 2 and 3 after Iron Man 1 first came out.
@@chrisnicholson2407 my first one was the amazing Spider-Man 2 but I really want the Snyder cut Superman I just hate how it’s only a two pack but i really just want the Superman because I like the bale Batman better than the afleck😅
You have Nathan Drake but NO Lara Croft?!?!?! Blasphemes!!! However, your Harry Potter star ace collection wins you some points back! Nice collection bro 😎
Might be. Without seeing yours, im guessing that you have the rare "Prestige Edition". Easiest way to tell is if yours has a yellow Bat Symbol on the chest.
@@chrisnicholson2407 no its not yellow symbol. Here, mine is like this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Irr0_ak1Vfs.html Is this prestige?
@@jericangeloobille3732 Oh! You mean those obsidian blue highlights? Mine have those too. Its just hard to see them with the angle of the gauntlets and the soft lighting.
@@chrisnicholson2407 yeah.it took years ,but I managed to get all 3 versions so far...it's weird that they seem to lose more details with the following version at least the spikey hair was well sculpted but did they have to make him so pale ? He looks like he hasn't slept in 900 years , the 1st and 2nd version were a bit better ..I also wish the added highlights to the hair and better flesh tones...also had to kitbash a stronger body, I have 9 10 11 and they seem flimsy bodywise...I hope those issues are fix with upcoming release figures because I really love the line.
I find "funny" that people turned their back on GoT season 8, even though since season 6 onwards the serie went down the hill.... Love your collection though ;)
Haha, I agree that the show definitely went downhill after they ran out of books. But while I overall loved season 6 and found 7 "meh", I was hoping that they would stick the landing in the end.
