I thibk only the new battle damaged Vader with the mask shaped cape will top this Darth Vader figure, for me the new damaged one is the ultimate Vader, but this one is beautiful too!
@@CollectSideshow One of my favorit SW moment when Vader finally returns to the light and saves his son, so emotional still brings tears to my eyes, even as an adult, this figure is perfect to recreate that scene
That dial of destiny indiana jones is said to have real leather jacket, shoes, and whip, and at most he’s worth $335. Why in the flying fuck can’t hot toys use real leather for figures?
@@fishersfilms2828 it’s like they’re expecting us to go out and buy products to try and keep them from flaking, that is bullshit, for how much these figures are worth they should not require any maintenance in order to last. All we want is to buy a figure, pose it, leave it in a pose, place it in a cabinet, and not have to worry about anything.
They could have very simply updated the suit to by made of Nylon as they are using with the new Luke and battle damaged Vader. Sorry not sorry but i’m not spending $550 CAD for a figure whose suit has a shelf life of 3-5 years.
I'm glad they fixed the headsculpt. It looked like a recast from the Empire Strikes Back Vader at first. I'm glad I preordered it. He should be arriving soon.
Thank you to the team for making such a great video! Much appreciated to those who shoot and edit this content. Can't wait to get this figure in hand, have an awesome day 😁
One more monthly payment to go with the Deluxe/Special Edition. Judging by seeing this Unboxing/Reveal, Sideshow has it in stock or soon in stock and ready for shipping? Usually Hot Toys blogger photos come first from Hong Kong to gauge out when the figure is ready to ship in Hong Kong and follow by in North America at Sideshow.
@@mutantstrawberry2478no he represents Vader in ROTJ. He has some post duel accessories if you choose to use them but its disingenuous to say he only represents that scene.
The fact that they keep using bargain bin materials like pleather is a complete insult and disgrace to the high end name. And the fact that sideshow for some reason won’t tell hot toys to stop using pleather and use durable materials for their costumers is shameful. It seems to me like some people need to be fired. Howard Chan, his team of incompetent and lazy idiots, and some people at sideshow who are too lazy to tell hot toys to stop using shitty and fragile materials. Those people need to be fired and replaced with people who think about the costumer and not the money. Anybody who agrees please reply.
I’m so excited for this figure! He’s been a grail for my hot toys collection, and I’ve skipped every previous Vader, including Kenobi, in anticipation of this one!
Awesome figure one of the most iconic in SW history glad I pick it up even though I have the Kenobi version but that one is because it has the best battle damage I ever seen and this one has Sebastian Shaws likeness. Most impressive.
I have my younger version of Vader, I’m getting old version on now and can’t wait for that battle damaged version of anakin next year and the circle will be complete 🤣🤣🤣🤣… what else could they come up after these three releases? Another Vader with More accessories 🤔🤔🤔
If everyone stopped buying the figures made from pleather, then Hot toys would have to change material due to lack of sales. But everyone still keeps buying them and complaining about it. Don't but the figures, let hot toys sales drop and they would have to consider a change.
What type of paints do you use. Is it mostly the commercially available stuff? Or do you use other paints. I see the artists tables filled with all sorts of cups with paint. Always wondered what paints you guys use. And do you prefer water based paints like Vallejo and such, or the more the Tamiya/MrColor like paints?
Got this guy on pre-order. I feel like these videos always drop too soon, as Sideshow is usually one to two months out from shipping. Would love to somehow see SIdeshow start releasing Hot Toys sooner. I get that they cone out of Asia, but deals can be struck can't they? Regardless, can't wait for this one!
