I really want this but if there's no unmasked head sculpt it's a no for me. The whole reason for me collecting movie and tv figures and statues is for the actors likeness/head sculpt. IMO
I have Wolverine on pre_order. Without a Ryan Reynolds head-sculpt, then i will stick with my Hot Toys - Deadpool 2 figure, which is one of my favourite figures in my collection.
It’s a good looking upgrade and yes it is one of those characters every collector should have because Deadpool is so locked into pop culture that he’ll fit in any display. I love that it comes with dogpool however I’m on the fence about it as of now considering I have the Deadpool 2 version. If (and when) HT reveals an unmasked portrait then I’ll definitely get this figure. Love hearing your thoughts bro
Got the other two cuz is DP and I can do all kinda crazy poses so one more will not hurt and I think this is the definitive one to have if you don’t have the other two. I already own a pretty good unmasked head sculpt so I was going to go with the regular version but when I saw that base and the golden guns yeah that’s the one to get. Am wondering tho what’s the other accessories going to be and why they are not included on the DX? Another question is are they going to make figures from the cameos that are going to be in the film? Inquiring minds want to know 😉
This will be my first Deadpool and I'm pretty excited about this one. I'm sure it will include the unmasked head sculpt since they haven't revealed the extras yet. As far as ordering HTs from BBTS...don't be fooled by their $4 shipping. They raise the prices on these by at least $15 bucks more than Sideshow, to make up for the cost of shipping...and then you pay the $4 bucks on top of that. Smh
@@optical20 Don't get me wrong...I still like and shop at BBTS (for certain things)...and yes, their pile of loot system is great 👍🏻 I just don't buy my HTs from them because of the upcharge on pre-orders and then the additional $4 shipping. There's no shipping deal on HTs, is my point.
@@steve-o-reno i get what you mean. I’ve used them for years and is very happy with them. I recently returned a bat signal that way past the return period and they took it. Sure you can save some tax/ shipping elsewehere but sometimes its not about just saving $15-$20 here and there. Its the insurance that if something goes wrong ill be taken care off.
@@optical20 haha definitely a different experience for me. I purchased a few Storm Collectibles from them a couple months ago. To my surprise, both figures had very loose leg joints and I couldn't believe my luck. I took a video to show them flopping around, emailed them the proof, and they got back to me saying that loose legs aren't considered a defect and joint tolerances are subjective. That if it can stand, it's fine. Meanwhile, the legs couldn't hold a kick without falling down. Anyway, I pushed back in my email and was able to get a refund...after them telling me that it was a one-time courtesy. I used to like their customer service but that put a bad taste in my mouth. Now I'm very selective when buying from them 🤷♂️
@@steve-o-reno hey atleast you got your money back. I returned an ahsoka that was 6 months old because the arm broke. I cant speak for your experience but i will continue to advocate for them and will stop if they become the new toyswonderland.
I’m gonna p.o because I don’t have a Deadpool. I feel like they will make the long hair version as well…if hot toys was smart they milk the shit out of this line
