My wife got the Death Trooper for me at Christmas. Love it! As for reissues, I’m very much hoping for more Stormtroopers (non remnant) seeing as they were prominent in The Mandalorian.

Thank you for this great Review! I'm an army builder and have seven of these because I missed the Rogue One Death Troopers. My only complaint is the smell of this figure, just like freshly painted. I wanted to leave one or two of mine mint in the box, but I unpacked them all because I´m a bit afraid of what happens to all the plastic when the solvents release by the time. I´m collecting for more than 20 years now, startet with Star Wars when Sideshow released their Snowtrooper but went on with other projects later on, now I´m happy to be back again with SW and all those great releases by Hot Toys :)

Any concerns about the rubber under-lining deteriorating over time? Heard it can be somewhat prone to cracking in certain areas such as the elbows.

Man that Death Trooper looks so good. Glad I got 3 of them lol! I think my favourite figure from the Mando line is still the OG Mando with Heavy Mando and the Death Trooper not far behind. Great video Jedha!

The "blether" loop where the other blaster hangs is prone to magnet ungluing and falling off. Otherwise it's a great looking piece.

I like your format for your review, 😅 , definitely the best “Post Lucas “ designs. Their bios are so cool, taller and gloss black. For fun I made white Bandai kit Deathtroopers. Also have a Real Action Heroes Blk Stormtrooper from a long time ago

Have the Death Trooper Specialist. Amazing piece. Death Trooper and Shore Trooper are the best modern OT trooper designs imho.

Looks awesome. Really like the greener tint on the lenses of the Mando version. Mine's on the way - can't wait for it to arrive! Think I'll be displaying it over by Krennic (don't have any DTs yet), maybe I'll get one of the new shore troopers as well since I missed them too the first time...

I settled with buying Beskar Mando but after your past couple videos I broke and bought the Durasteel Mando. Especially in your collection video he looked amazing next to the Beskar version. Was going back and forth for a while but you sold me so thanks Man !

Reissue-wise: Dark Knight Joker is a guarantee. You just know it’s coming. And it’ll be the rare DC I’ll buy - even though I have the previous Joker 2.0

Thank you for hinting the re-issue for the Shoretrooper! I am glad I waited and not payed the reseller prices. Now tell me one thing: will they reissue the clean RO Stormtrooper which is also on the new photos of the Shoretrooper as well as on the photos of Moff Gideon? :)

Hell yeah I’m happy this re-released. I could’ve got the original but was too strict with my only OT figures rule. I’ve since relaxed it a bit 😄 and mine is showing up Wednesday.

HELL YES!! Love the rereleases because it gives us all a chance to collect. I feel like more and more, it becomes an "investment" with some. Always pro and cons to both sides though

I’ve only got into Hot Toys recently and think the re-issues are great. It helps out people who arrived a little late, and if they change it up a little bit it retains some value for those who have the original figures. I’d like a Dark Side Anakin but don’t want to mortgage the house to get one. Maybe they could re-release it without the fancy lava droid stand thing. Maybe a two pack with a severed youngling? 😂

I had a lot of trouble posing my incinerator stormtrooper. I noticed on yours the left hand doesn't come all the way up to sit under the flame thrower.

There are no Death Trooper "grunts", they are all already a highly specialized unit of DNA augmented Stormtroopers. Specialized Death Troopers just have a heavy blaster. It's like calling all the other Navy SEAL's, that don't carry the Mk46 LMG, "grunts" lol.

PLEASE NOTE when posing, I have the Rogue One Specialist and the leather type material used for the pauldron is slowly falling a part around the neck as well as the loop holstering the blaster. I'm a 10 year colector and pose my HT figure very rarely. And of course the rubber material used is a constant concern with most collectors. Great figure though, just thought I mention it.

there is a difference between specialist and specialist deluxe. the specialist only has no pointer on his left helmet side. so there exist now three different Versions of death trooper. ;o)

I have 3 and it is a nice amount to have in DeathTroopers. I have 2 Rogue Ones. One Deluxe with all the gear, then the other that normally comes with all the gear but no LED on the side of the helmet, and one Mando one. Do it!!!!!

Unless you just decide to have a “trooper display” and have one of each. It’s a bit formulaic and cliche but you also save a lot of money haha.

Re-releases to me are a bit of a double edged sword. I like them when they improve upon the original release, i don't like them when it is literally the same figure rehashed. Also as a longtime collector that did feel these were somewhat of an investment, and spent time hunting ones down for good prices and having rare ones, it is disheartening to know that as soon as a figure starts to go up in value it gets re-released. I mean, is a reissue of Yondu or Jynn Erso right around the corner? I see ppl asking for a dark side Anakin!...that figure is fairly new and was for sale a looooong time before it sold out, you had plenty of opportunities to get it.
