The Mark 2 is my sister's favorite Iron Man armor. She doesn't mind that it's a prototype and loves the simplistic, sleek nature of it; the chrome metallic silver look always looked really nice to her.
Strange that it comes with missiles as the mark II was not fitted with weapons until it was turned into the war machine mark I. (Except for repulsors but those were not purpose made weapons)
Hey bro i had left for 3 weeks on family emergency, but I didn't forget you. Im back & its back to business. I had to watch this video t'make sure $330 is a decent price for this (I didn't want a Mk. III diecast 2nd version weird torso gimmick figure). Daaamn $1,000.00 for this one figure? Glad I didn't have to pay that. I paid $1,140 (All total) for 5 HT figures new in packaging this summer. Iron-Man Mk. 2 diecast, Iron-Man Mk. 5 diecast, Spider-Man Homecoming (wt. Andrew Garfield headsculpt), & Infinity War Rocket and Teen Groot (got them both for $310.50). Add that to my Mk. XVIII diecast and that's my Hot Toys collection so far now. I still have the 5 Justice League live action movie figures, ESB Darth Vader, ROTJ Royal Guard, & Emperor DX, Infinity War Black Widow, + Iron-Man Mk. VII diecast, & Mk. IV diecast, coming in 2018. And a BUNCH pre-ordered for 2019 as well.

Justin's Collection I think me too.. The rest of the Iron Legion seems to be taking a back seat, and I'm sure none of the remaining suits will be diecast. After the inevitable Mark I diecast I'm done. Of all the Hot Toys Ironmen figures I'm only missing the ULTRA exspensive/rare Gun Metal Mark ii, the released Midas, the new Diecast Mark vi, the Movie Promo Mark vii and the brand new Neon Tech armors.
Do you happen to have the Diecast Mark III for comparison purposes? I have the Mark II and am considering the Diecast Mark III now, but want to see how they compare in size. Thanks!
Hi Justin, would you suggest I get the Mark 3 diecast or Mark 2 diecast? Like the Mark 2 cos its unique but not sure how well it would go with the gantry set
Ok Id start with some older pieces then. Maybe iron man plastic figures they go for cheap or even something like Man of steel Superman! He’s great and shouldn’t cost the world if you get him second hand
Also Sideshow Collectibles Flexpay Option is a good place to start, I've been using it since 2012. So even though a figure might cost $250,$300, $400, at least with the Flexpay Option you can set up monthly payments for $50-$100-plus depending on the figure and the amount of monthly payments you choose.

nearly 3 years later and im still bummed about this release. too short compared to the rest of the lineup and is proportionally wonky. hope they remake this and the mark 3 some day
