Having drawn them in a Doctor Strange comic last year, I learned that they are called "The Vipers of Valtorr. They loved their alliteration back in the 60s, lol. Great review!
I was waiting on picking up a Strange so when I saw this announced and I saw all those accessories (I'm a sucker for them) coupled together with that great sculpt I knew this was the one for me. Glad to see the decision to PO this back in the day paid off. Excited about this one. Great review as always Justin!
I am looking forward to this figure, very happy that it is going to be my doctor strange. I don't buy many hot toys, only the definitive versions of my favorite characters. And this seems the definitive one. I need it home, now.
Great vid as always. Those poses at the end were fantastic. Dr Strange has always been a great figure to pose, but the improvement to the sculpt and the addition of the coat hanger makes this figure the best figure version of him
I have to agree Justin, this Dr strange is superb, and the headsculpt is so good it's as if they shrank Mr cumberbatch down and froze him,lol imo it's that good ? Accessories are great too ? A massive hit !?
Hot Toys definitely knocked it out the Park again with the Doctor Strange 1/6 Scale Figure. The Headsculpt looked 100 percent like the Character from the Doctor Strange: in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) movie. I remember as a child in the 70s collecting Dr Strange Comics. I didn't have any Toys back then, but I really enjoyed reading and collecting Comics. That was my way as a kid staying away from the real world by reading and using my imagination through the Comics world. Very Entertaining and Informative as usual. Thanks Justin once again for sharing and have a Wonderful weekend friend!
Great figure review! They're definitely gonna give us the comic accurate look in his next movie with the white symbol and yellow gloves, but this figure and design gets the job done better than the other looks imo, also bit of a surprise with the 3rd eye head sculpt as he only had it at the very end
Nice video 👍🏻. Great figure, with all those accessories you can understand the higher price. The addition of the cloak stand is awesome, they should do this more often. A stand for additional headsculpts would be nice
As far this is the best version of Doctor Strange, not to mention 3rd eyes, looking forward his evolution in the future, as always...we won't be able too seen all these awesome figure without Justin and his team
I love that blue patch on the cloak becuz for the love from Christine Palmer. Now I'm just looking forward maybe someone would publish Christine Palmer figure to fulfill the love they present 😊😊😊.
very nice looking figure and what a load of accessories! I love those vipers too. The colors look just that much brighter and saturated than the other versions. I think that 3rd eye is super creepy too. I'm not a big fan of that big patch either. Everytime I see it I wonder why alt-Christine couldn't find a closer color than that blue.
Oh my 😮 I’m still to add a dr strange to my collection at some point and I was thinking which one to choose from. After seeing this video I think it’s crystal clear he looks absolutely spot on especially after seeing the comparisons. Another great review thanks for sharing Justin.
Can't wait for your review on Scarlet Witch from this movie. Not everyone like the movie, but for me, I do really like the movie. Not the best mcu movie, but it decent
Since you are thinking of getting multiples for the regular headsculpt for upgrading older Stranger figures, any thoughts on customizing the extra MoM body and using the head with the third eye for an evil Strange with dying/fraying the outfit?
Great figure probably the best Dr Strange so far, pity the headsculpts don't have moving eyes, just imagine trying to get 3 all looking in the same direction, agreed about the cloak, the patch is stupid, surely be could whip up a repair spell? Thanks for the pic of Doc and Spidey together, two of my favourite Steve Ditko creations!
Nice review, as always sir👍 i need to stop writing that because your reviews are always THE WAY TO GO in figures review😂 about the headsculpt, you don't realise how good they are until you compare with the previous... WoW, really next Level stuff😮
Do you recommend this as a first character, I’m a massive fan of doctor strange with him being one of my favourite marvel characters and I’m thinking of beginning a collection of hot toys
The Eye of Aggamoto always just has magical properties, is was also given the ability to hold the time stone in the MCU because plot I guess. (or it held the time stone in the comics, I don't think it did tho)
Nice review :) does the headsculpt from this one look good in person on the infinity war body? I know you showed it off but it’s always better in person than on video. For some reason the headsculpt always look better in hand then video/pictures. I recently just got the infinity war one and I’m happy with that one just wasn’t sure if it was worth swapping heads
@JustinsCollection I am a relatively new to the hobby and have a question, When you were reviewing this Dr Strange Figure did you notice if the legs were loose or wiggly? I just got mine and the legs seem loose and I'm just curious if this is normal or did I get a defective figure. Also BTW love the Channel lots of great info
Is the cloak compatible with the old ones? The patch bothers me to the point I’m thinking about buying a loose cloak on eBay Update: I ended up buying a loose NWH cloak and ironically I think it actually sits on the figure better than the cloak he actually came with
I wonder why they didn’t include the dark hold since he used it to dreamwalk the undead strange Along with some candles as part of the dreamwalk ritual?
Hey Justin hot toys announced and showed pictures of a new hot toys Sam rami tobey maguire black suit Spider-Man figure and oh my god does it look fantastically amazingly beautiful
So do we think the blue patch on the Cloak is actually a piece of Reed Richards and it will be key into bringing him into the MCU? Us his DNA, magic, or something, or to bring him to modern times? Perhaps it was Reed's way to keep an eye on him in some way.
@@JustinsCollection That makes sense but I think it's Marvel giving themselves an in for later. Or they'll never end up doing anything with it. Or I'm completely wrong. Thanks for the response, very cool of you.
Beautiful figure and great review. Any chance someone knows where I could see a photo of this multiverse Dr Strange with the old(long string) version of the Eye of Aggomot?
I love your videos I use all your advice when I’m planning on buying something but there’s one thing … you haven’t done goku super Sajyan God😭 please can you do a review
How did you fixed the cape placing it properly? I'm having a hard time to place it properly to its shoulders as its left shoulder is not symetrical to the other shoulder
@@JustinsCollection yeah, just done playing with it as of this moment and found the perfect placement of it. Man this Dr Strange is such a beautiful figure 🔥
I have been noticing a wierd pattern, correct me if I'm wrong. It seems when Hot Toys on facebook post a whole bunch of pictures of upcoming products, less than a week later, you do a video on it. Is it just me?😂
Oh you may be confused. Hot toys drops a set of pics at pre order then a year later they drop another set when the figure is released, that year later is when I get mine to review.
