Great review! The Mark VII is such an important suit, I’m glad this came out so well. Because this is such a huge Iron Man suit I wish it did have a unique base, maybe even a Chitauri piece with it. And those shoulder pieces such have been done with magnets. Overall though this will be a top figure for me. Thanks for the review. I’ll be rewatching this a lot until mine comes in haha.
Hey hey, thanks. :-) A shoulder mount with magnets would have been pretty cool, i mean they did it also on the chest armor piece, so why not shoulders. You will be pleased I'm sure!
This mark7 is a beauty. Beside Mark4 its my favorite suit. Mark7 was my second Iron Man after i got hooked by the first war machine. Man that was such a let down.. felt so toyish. So im looking forward to this. The Base is the only big let down

Thanks for watching! 😊 Plastic Mark VII is holding up well, not so the earlier ones (first Mark IV and Mark VI). I really hope these diecast pieces will last "forever" and this is now their final iteration. Pricing is crazy with Iron man...it seems their is no end.
Good catch Rayo! I had to find this again myself. If i'm not mistaken it's from the Iron man 3 accessories pack, there was a proper Mark VII helmet included which had the eye sockets fixed compared to the original plastic version. I have videos of both on my channel, just search for the keywords.
It’s been awhile, Andre. 😁 I always appreciate the honesty in your reviews. That reused base is definitely disappointing and I’m not sure what Hot Toys was thinking with those shoulder pieces. Also, I think they could of put a little more effort into the battle damaged pieces. The battle damage seems pretty soft, on this figure. Other than that, I think it looks great. Nice paint application, a lot of accessories, and I’m digging the new crotch/waist grabber on the stand. It seems to hug the figure, pretty well. Anyhow, thanks for the great review, brother. I look forward to the next one. 👍

I don't know why people have such an issue with the bullets being on the base... It wasn't just Iron Man out there fighting... There were dozens and dozens of police officers shooting their guns in all directions... Hot Toys was NEVER meaning to imply that Iron Man fires common bullets
Brian Tidwell It’s more of an issue of laziness, on the part of Hot Toys. This figure is not cheap, and as such, it would be great to get a new base that better represents the fight in New York. Also, if memory serves, I believe all the police in those scenes were using pistols. The casings on this base are rifle rounds. All in all, the base doesn’t really fit the figure. Hope this helps to inform you, as to why people are a bit disappointed. 😁
