This is the angriest I've seen Justin and I love it lmao. But honestly, you're right. Seeing how good they made Gwen and Miles just makes Miguel here look all the more disappointing, I really hope this is just a prototype but I'm not too well versed in Hot Toys production to be confident in it. Update: Either the pre-orders were that low or the backlash was that big because Hot Toys is changing it to a full fabric suit! Hell yeah!

It's absolutely mind-boggling that they made such a BRILLIANT 2099 for the PS4 lineup, and this looks like a glorified Marvel Legends. How hard can it be to replicate this version in that style?

i dont think ive ever been more frustrated with hot toys than this. the movie was incredible, 2099 is my favorite alternate spidey… if they put a fabric suit i wouldve gladly paid $300.

I hope they re-do this figure, I loved Miguel in this movie and wish I could have a decent figure of him (especially for a drawing reference). Looking at the Gwen and Miles figures and then looking at Miguel’s is almost jarring how different they look. Truly doesn’t look like the figures belong to the same company 😔

This figure would've been amazing....if it wasn't a Hot Toys. Why they didn't go for the full skin suit baffles me. Like if this was a smaller, cheaper figure i'd like it a lot!

I dont mind it looks like a regular action figure as much as it costs $250. The SH Figuarts looks more realistic and is a fraction of the price while only being a bit less than half the size of the Hot Toy. Alright, the mold is the most expensive part yet Hasbro and NECA have made figures just as big for $50-$100.

At first I thought this was like a new 1/12 scale line of figures from ht.. but then i saw this was the 1/6 main line They could go for matte fabric and glossy details on the suit

for some odd reason i actually liked this figure, i loved how subtle the blue glow effects were and how smooth and clean the figure was. im just not sure how i feel about the fact theyre changing it to fabric.

With all due respect, I don't think any tight clothing could withstand Maguel's physique and poses. And as someone who is fed up with torn Hot toys clothes, I really like this figure.

Maybe they should've gone the venom/carnage route of the joints? Cuts at the arms and legs where they attach to the body but that's it. And a magnetic head, no excuse to not use those when possible. Because this guy looks so cheap I thought this WAS the figuarts version at first.

the topper for me is that even with the exposed joints and clearly separate neck piece they STILL didnt include a proper neck for the mask off look and he still has the suit going into the head.

I've never cared about joints being hidden so this is fine at a glance for me, and him not having fabric isn't totally unfitting in my opinion regardless, but its wild that hot toys didn't use that to make this guy a MONSTER of articulation and painting

The whole point of buying hot toys is the soft high quality goods. Exposed joints? Its looks good and all but for a hot toys , it literally looks like an enlarged version of a 20$ Marvel legend, bro

I feel like the red parts should be more translucent it just looks too flat

I have been waiting for this preview since the second I saw this appalling 12 inch marvel legends. Even calling it a legends is an insult cause those are actually posable! Anyways, this was exactly what I thought as well. I’m glad you kept it real, love and respect the honesty to the game.

this is what I like about Justin, he apologizes for everything that is slightly triggering to us, thanks everyone who helps him get footage, even when he is swearing, where he isn’t supposed to be sorry as he is mad, he apologizes just incase we get annoyed, he also replies to every comment, no matter if it’s a nice comment, meme-ish comment, insulting comment, whatsoever, this man at least replies with a symbol or something, and you can tell he replies after reading the comments, cuz the reply is always related to the comment.
