Even though this is a real beauty,it still doesn't look like the 1984 ''Factory chase''movie version, the movie version has a wider head and the hose between its shoulders loops over the pistons, and it needs to have that dark burnished look.still,I'd buy one of those babys!
I love the base! LOVE THE BASE!! When you move the head , it looks as if the springs might pop. Is he stable and sturdy? The light up eyes are cool, I'd leave it on at night for the heck of it, might scare guests :D Hope you're feeling much better. Refu'a Shlema! Great review, AWESOME figure! and....shiiiiiineeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Keep up the good work and....GET TO THE CHAPPA!
I too own this guy. My two issues are as follows: When they made this, they did not take accurate proportional measurements of his hands and head. His hands are way too big for his body and his head is on the small side. Otherwise, very cool piece.
The Toy Frontier thank you, lovely toy (thinking of getting one). i have checked out the hot toys homepage but there was no "order-button"...is is out of stock? where did you buy yours?
Its 800$ because its been sold out for years and the only place you can get it from people on ebay who jack the price up because this is very sought after
8:11 And why is there a double joint on the pistons where they meet the crotch? Neca did that too. The pistons are supposed to mount right at the crotch with only one point of articulation, not two.
9:18 The Endoskeleton does not use two hands to hold it's plasma rifle. I've seen people display them like that as well, and it does not look cool. The Endoskeleton has so much power in it's arms and hands, that it can hold the rifle without help of the other hand. If you see in the movies, the Endoskeletons never use two hands.
5:03 and if it was going to be totally accurate, that chest cavity is supposed to be hollow, not filled in with some BS filling that the hydraulics just disappear into without mountings.
It's not perfect. Why does every company that puts out the Endoskeleton, make the forearm hydraulics angle out where they meet the wrist? Look at the hydraulics. They come out of the forearm and they don't stay straight. They angle out. I mean, why can't they make the wrist smaller, so it won't look so stupid like that? I'm modifying my 18" Neca, and I was able to keep the hydraulics straight with bulk aluminum tubing from the hobby store. If you're going to pay an average of $350.00 for this Hot Toys figure, you would think it would be spot on correct. If I got that figure, I would have to modify that to be right. Imagine if Arnold's flesh was on that figure. His arms would have to look like Popeye's to cover the Endoskeleton forearms and wrists.
+Vidiwell100 The feet are not accurate either...not even on the 6'2" model are the toes correct. Look at the opening scene of T2 and look at the model. I would prefer Industrial Light & Magic or Stan WInston (RIP) Studios just to sell copies of the actual character not some third party company.
5:55 Please close the jaw. I have seen these figures on ebay with the jaws open and it really look stupid. Once the skin came off, the mouth never opens! It just does not look menacing with the jaw open. It looks like the Endoskeleton is singing opera.
