The app has changed and I'm having trouble with it being offline. I'll add more comments if I learn anything. Anyone has having issues?

Hi, the app has been upgraded, for me it has been better always able to be connected. have you tried unpluging everything and re installing?

CMS means ControlMySpa code. The code is on the back of the wifi module in the spa

that was the first place i checked, the code was not on the back of my wifi module. the only way you would have it on the back of the module is if you bought the wifi from a dealer or if the module came with the spa its self, i bought it online and it did not come with the code.

I have 14 years of experience in spa manufacturing. The Control My Spa is a system that enables a dealer to see how your spa is performing, if there are any issues they can see it from their shop. It also enables you to control your spa from your phone from anywhere you have the internet. The CSM number is basically the Dealer account number, it is not provided with the unit. When setting up the app on your phone your phone will connect to the CMS through Bluetooth, what the directions do not tell you is once you turn the power back on to the spa you have 20 seconds for your phone to connect through Bluetooth. if you miss the 20 seconds you will get a message that it was not able to connect and you will have to power off the spa and try again. .

Wi-Fi unit from Balboa water group sucks and so does their customer service

Yes that’s what I heard before I bought it that’s why I couldn’t believe they got back to me the same day. I also heard that it goes down a lot since it’s on a cloud but has been good to me so far, will see how it is in the future.
