Connor Sky it was a contract dispute with SM which started with a lawsuit in 2009. The whole thing is pretty messy and split a lot of people in the fandom. After they finished all their Japanese activities in 2009, The 3 former members were put in a unit by Avex called JYJ around April 2010. After that JYJ did their own things when they were with Cjes and they also happen to win in favor over SM by the court from the lawsuit in 2012. TVXQ came back as a duo after being on hiatus for almost a year. I’d say as of right now, just support all 5 members equally and that’s about it.

Connor Sky it wasn’t a dispute within the group, it was more of a dispute with the company itself, not the members. Seem like the 3 members wanted to still be part of the group but with a better contract but probably saw that they had more opportunities to do things without SM (Cassie’s DONT hate me, I’m just stating what I’ve seen online). I’m sure they still probably respect and love each other but probs not as much when they were still together. I mean it’s been a long time since all members seen each other for almost 10 years except for Yunho and Jaejoong who met each other again at a military event in 2015. For sure they all moved on by now considering they’re all respectively doing well themselves.
Seulgi, Suho, and Xiumin are in awe when Changmin hit the high notes, but then there's Minho at the right side smiling like doing those things are just basic for them. 15 years in the scene and yet they're still "rising".

TVXQ just exudes an aura whenever they perform. I still can't find another group who has that aura that won't let you look away when performing. They're the best at what they do and they own it.

I love TVXQ so much, I was in awe throughout the whole performance. Honestly Suho and Xiumin were me when Changmin hit those fancy high notes like they were there nothing. Also, that iconic high note in Mirotic will always make me shiver. Till this day, I haven't find an idol who can pull that off that high note when groups cover the song. (Changmins vocals are no joke). Yunho killed it will his flawless dancing, that kick was higher then my future. Can Yunho please give me some dancing lessons? SM PLEASE GIVE TVXQ A WORLD TOUR, I NEED TO SEE MY BOYS! COME TO THE UNITED STATES PLEASE!
Only two people dancing and singing non stop in a wide stage, still managed to awe me. They got this huge amount stage presence aint they aint look like they're trying hard. This is so good to watch. This is what the new gen kpop groups forgot : to perform beautifully and enthusiastically and enjoy what u r doing. Rookies almost always perform to get or to seek that attention they need to get famous but almost always too, their perf becomes too cringey to watch. They forgot to enjoy and just be great and who they are.
So after this performance some Korean netizens were saying this is a lipsync performance (what a joke because TVXQ may be great in everything but one thing they suck at is lip sych LOL literally the most awkward at acting), then Dispatch (korea's largest entertainment platform) literally released live cam footage in 4 angles of this performance to prove them wrong lmao.
Yes, very few idols can move that much and keep their stamina up and voice clear. You can actually count the idols/groups with the fingers in your hands that can endure a whole show performance with more than 2-3 songs and not be struggling to breathe while singing well. It takes special training that very few companies invest on their idols, but it's very much worth the investment.
Kids, remember. No matter how amazing and good your idols are, this one, TVXQ is one of who paved the way for your idols. Who are they? Text book of your favorites.
I totally agree with you!! I've been a Cassiopeia ever since 2005 (when I heard their Christmas album) and fell in love with them and 14 years later, I still cherish them today than any other kpop groups because no kpop group or fans can deny that TVXQ was what made K-pop very popular!

They're so charismatic, well aged, experienced, so strong that the company can't even touch them and they can stand on their own with strong fanbase. Just look at their stage presence with only two people. From 5 to 2 and still maintain strong. So much respect for these two

Actually even now they are still one of the most relevant group in the game though, no longer in the spotlight but just in the first half of last year (2018), they bring back for SM 200 billions won, while SM's total revenue of the first half 2018 is only 344 billions won, they alone contribute ~60% total income of a Big3 lol

Tbh, they are humans so there're a few things thay can't do, such as lipsync :)) If you listen carefully some parts are different from the recorded one, like the part after Changmin's highnote.

솔직히 이때 스엠가수들 존나 욕먹었던거 개짜증났음. 스엠 가수들이 다 그세대에 유명했고 레전드였으니 출연할 명분은 충분한것같은데. 아니돈먹였다 빽썼다 이상한 말들이 있는데 이름만 불러도 유명하고 레전드인 스엠가수들을 그냥 스엠이 방송국에 출연요청하면 방송국은ok일텐데 오히려 방송국에서 굳이 거절할 이유는 오히려 불려드릴것같은데. 스엠이 뭘 해요 돈도 없는것같고 딴사업에 정신팔려서 멍청하게 아티스트 플랜 프로모션 ㅅㅂ 좆같이 하고 돈을 아티스트가 벌어주면 쓸데없는 사업이 투자해서 더 돌겠고 빡치구만. 팬들 속터지게 해서 지들손으로 팬들 떠나게 만드는 사람들인데 아티스트에 돈을 쓰긴 에휴.그리고 비주얼 완벽 실력완벽 비주얼에 가려져서 그렇지 스엠가수만큼 비주얼과 실력이 비례하는데가 많지는 않고요.왜 유독 한국인들은 남 잘되는 꼴을 못봐서 아무말로 비하하고 비난하는지 정말 이해 안됐었던때.
people usually just merely acknowledge their being 'legends' before moving on to gush over newer groups but i'm actually HOT for tvxq. i came to love them in 2015 after watching one of their happy together episodes and chased them down to their final stop of their T1ST0RY tour before enlistment. they were literally the most handsome 2 men I had ever laid eyes on. tall, sleek, mature, funny and snarky, with enough talent between them to start 20 more kpop groups. they are the quintessential kpop group, hard work and work ethics and passion and a range of talents behind perfect visuals. to think that after the split, people were holding their breaths and sure that yunho and changmin would never make it alone. they used that chance to grow and become even better than ever, and honestly, things have never been better for them.
Just the two of them can sell out a whole venue *today.* That's how amazing they are. Personally speaking, I'm not that into the cute little boys or cute little girls concept, like kpop companies keep doing these days. I prefer groups like this, SHINee, Monsta X, and a few others. They're manly and intense and can sweep you off your feet. But the cute little boys is definitely not for me. Personally, I can't find them attractive, only like they're my little brothers who need to be taken care of. No offense to them of course, it's the concept created for them.
