i find it really funny that mickey takes a solid few seconds to process and look at the dragon like "what did i do" nods at the audience and just dematerializes under the stage
I feel like this is the only video of the incident where you can clearly see Mickey’s “holy fuck! 😲😲😲Well, tata!” reaction. Others you can’t really see it.
Hey Daniel!! Would I be able to feature some clips of the fire starting in an upcoming Top 10 video on my channel? With verbal and on-screen credit of course! Let me know :)
The voice actress that played Maleficent was unintentionally disturbing when she started screaming whilst catching on fire! It went from an innocent Fantasia battle to The Wicker Man in 2 seconds flat! 😮
umm if you look you can see some kind of fluid leaking from the mouth of the animatronic before it catches on fire. then a slight bit of smoke around the head. It looks like the animatronic breathed it's fire a tad bit late too than it normally does as if it struggled to shoot it out. I feel like that was the start of the malfunction.
Yep. And after Mickey says "This is my dream!", there are supposed to be fireworks that shoot out of the sides of the dragon's head. Guarantee you that's what caused the ignition of the leaking fuel.
literally after the fluid was leaking from the fireball if you look really closely her horns area is starting to smoke and then the inferno ignites plus mickey just stays in character and finishes his routine and gets lowered below
This is the only video I have been able to find where I can see Mickey's reaction to the maleficent fire. Mickey didn't notice the fire at first and continued the show. It wasn't until Maleficent started screaming( which of course is the oart of the show where she dies and is defeated by mickey) that Mickey noticed the fire. You can see him nod vigorously like as if he is saying " lower the trapdoor and get me out of here!" and then you see him raise his hand while being lowered down the trapdoor like as if he is waving goodbye, either to the fans or to murphy, before water covers our view of Mickey and when the water subsides, Mickey is gone, indicating that he got to safety.Apparently, some of the fire got under the stage, so a lot of cast memebers that were under the stage had to evacuate Tom Sawyer Island. Luckily, no one was hurt, and the fire didn't destroy the island.
I was watching this video and as soon as the head caught fire I was like “Oh no. That’s not supposed to happen.” And as soon as a CM (Cast Member) came onstage with a garden hose I was like “You really think that’s going to work?” Edit: I didn’t think I would get any likes.
to me this is considered lucky to be there because something like this is very rare to happen but still i hope they being her back, the animatronic was too beautiful
@@thomasoates3003 well i have an idea. Everyone wants Murphy back and Disney also wants to save money. They already have a head and neck in the form of the tokyo disneyland animatronic that they used back when they did fantasmic. Build a body under it and bam! you have Muphy 2.0! That, way, disney won't have to build the entire animatronic from scratch. They could even make so that the are of the stage where murphy comes out is an underwater chamber. After all, water quickly puts fire out so if there is any problems, they can just lower murphy back underwater. They could also take some ideas from tokyo and make a new and improved maleficent dragon scene. maybe make a scene where murphy pops out of a tv screen similar to how the dragon in tokyo popped out of a mirror. Also, tokyo disneyland's version fires three times in spurts because while one big fireball is awesome, it can cause pressure buildup, causing things to break, like what keeps flammable liquid from leaking, causing a fire. When it is fired in small spurts there is less pressure. It also gives you the impression that Maleficent is trying to fire at Mickey or the audience. They also use special effects instead of sparks for maleficent's defeat, preventing more fires, which is cool( and they prolong her scream for some reason?).
@@itisrandom8868 Another possibility could be to temporarily bring back Bobby, the dragon they used from 1992-2009. That was the one where they stuck a dragon head on a cherry picker. That would allow the show to run in a form resembling A Mode whilst Murphy is rebuilt.
Mickey: do you *DARE* to ever try and steal my show? Dragon: Heh… Yes. Mickey: ok. *Lights Dragon on fire* Dragon: oh shoot- *lights on fire* AAAAAAAAAAA
Mickey: Ha-ha. You may think you're so powerful. (Ha-ha, ha) Well, this is MY dream! *Fire starts; Maleficent screams in agony and so do the other villains* Announcer: Attention, please. Due to circumstances beyond our control, tonight's performance of Fantasmic! cannot continue.
Oh No 😢 Fantasmic Dejo De Funcionar Por Murphy Se Quemo Yo Fui A Disneyland Y Estuve Triste. Pero Para Mi Sorpresa Construyeron Una Base Por Si Llega A Pasar Eso, Además Hubo Explosiones
