Hot Water Beach in the Coromandel of New Zealand is a geothermal beach where you dig a hole and water comes up which is so hot you need to mix it with sea water to cool it down. Digging your own pool in the sand it is very unique to this beach.
We stayed 5 minutes walk away at the Top 10 campsite, a wonderful campsite with a pool and a great playground. They put on all the extras for Easter weekend, our 2 and 4 year old what the best time!
