damn, they need to do an unplugged album, id like to hear some older content done this good acoustically. this was amazing. chuck must gargle with hot asphalt before every show, he sounds so badass.
Adore these guys, almost 20 years and the love keeps growing stronger, and their songs help me through, Chuck's voice helps me through, best wishes from RU, guys, take care, we all gonna need you for a long time.
This is fantastic, don't get me wrong, but was anybody else missing Jason Black's bass lines in this version? I didn't realize how much they complemented this song until I heard it without.
Chuck could whisper and still blow your hair back and make your belly drop...I've said it before, but listening him is like hearing a friggin lion on a cliff roaring.
White buffalo, Tim Barry, Garrett Dale, Jon Snodgrass (less raspy but plays with all these guys), Ben Nichols. And I know it’s not the same style, but you have to give Joey Cape a good listen... haunting voice and amazing lyrics. (I’m biased cuz Lagwagon is my favourite punk rock band) All gold.
You're free to have any opinion you want, I suppose. As a fan for the past 15 years I can also have the opinion that the acoustic version is just as beautiful as the electric version. The acoustic version really accentuates Chuck's haunting vocals and lyrics in this tune. Also, don't forget that, as you mentioned, they wrote the song, so they can play it any way they want to.
Hi guys, can any one of you tell me tuning of both guitars? thinking about covering it with a friend and i dont know the tuning of the guitars, can anyone of you share the info? i'd be really glad ;D
Genius, do you know this is an acoustic cover of their original version, wich, yes, have a really really well made bass line? And I'm sure I have all the right of complaining about the choice of making an acoustic cover without the bass line that themselves composed. So, if you didn't know, I hope you feel a bit stupid for replying. If you knew, what the hell are you saying?
Hmmm...it's not like Chuck to neuter the vocals on an acoustic version. Don't get me wrong, this is still incredible. But I was hoping for the vocals to be closer to electric version.
The Bicycle Thief is pretty amazing. Rumbleseat, John Frusciante, Local H -incredibly underrated, Blind Melon. Frank Black is my favorite musician of all time.
