What do you think of this Hot Wheels 55th Anniversary Set?!

I got both waves from the same store, missing was the chase from both, the guy that puts them out is a collector, he takes all the chases and Super Treasure Hunts before he puts them on the shelf, several times I've been the first to pick, just after many cases were put out, missing were the Super Treasure Hunts & Treasure Hunts, unless they were something stupid like a cupcake, it's at the point, I'm going to report him to the store manager if it doesn't stop, shopping in the back room is fair, while you're supposed to be working. But yesterday, another store put out wave two, I got the chase, the last one in the display, I saw it a few days earlier, passed right by, I forgot I was missing the #3, didn't know it was a Chase until today, I'm glade I went back, don't know how many came with the display, I only know I got the last one😀

@@furiouslycollecting I went into that store one night, about a week before Christmas, some one else had just put a dump box by the front door, older cases, but I found 2 Gas Monkey's TH, I bet he got mad they put that out. They keep putting out old cases here, we just got 1 C case 2024, with many 2023 case, that same bin is there by the front door, again I came in last week at night, a fresh case was just dumped, an another Gas-Monkey, 3 from the same bin, all at night when he doesn't work, ha ha ha, across the parking lot is Safeway, and another collector, they (He did) put out 4 displays around Christmas time, he saw me going through it, told me he got all the Treasure Hunts, he didn't find any Supers, I held up my hand, holding the Super Treasure Hunt 69' Mustang Shelby GT-500, you should of seen his face, ha ha ha, I traded 1 of my Gas-Monkeys for 3 of his Treasure Hunts he found. My son works there with him, he told me he goes through the Hot Wheels before anybody, he was complaining to my son, about missing that car, and having to give up those Treasure Hunts, ha ha ha, I told my son to ask if is brother works across the parking lot at Fred-Meyers, if so, he could thank his brother, ha ha ha. Wave 1 only bought the chase van and sold it, lol. Like the colors just not the huge Hot Wheels logo.

This is definitely a really cool set for sure and think I like the first mix better then the second. It is weird that the Acura gets the rear tail light tampo’s. And also there are a ton of variations of the Integra as well! Nice overview dude! 😎👍🏻🔥

I think they did a great job getting a solid variety of cars! Happy I was able to grab them all 🙌🏻
