Hot Wheels Drag Bus Collection - Most of the first 50 made 

I really like them but was surprised that when I took them to the convention no one was interested in anything but the employee christmas bus. That sold for $450. I opened all the cheaper ones and they look much better out than in.

Well it's not easy filming and opening old grungy blister protectos at the same time. Plus I have budda fingas! But as far as being careful with their collections you will not find anyone more careful than me. I've been a dedicated collector for over 30 years. Collecting is really my thang!

I had all my bases for sale at the last LA convention and they did not sell well. I decided to take all the common ones out of the package and then people looked at them. They are very pretty. Figure $20 a piece for the common ones like Blue Angels, Marines, Penske, etc.

It was the sound track that made it seem rough. Turn off the sound and they are all handled gently!

Mostly sold except the rare employee one. No idea of the value I haven't seen a confirmed sale. There was a listing on ebay a few months back for 3,500.

Well it turned out too much. I thought Drsg Busses were still popular. Lost a little on the re-sale of these.

This one is the real deal it looks like. The date on the bus is 1995 and the tampo is clear and sharp and the roll cage is green. I see some reproductions on the net and they seem to be not sharp. I did not even know what this model was when I bought this drag bus collection. I though it was just a few random Drag Buses and I do like them so I bought them. I figured that between the few that seemed to have value I could break even on the deal and have a couple of RLCs for my collection. I was surprised to find out this was a good one. When I was researching the value on each bus I found a listing of the Drag Bus by year and discovered that the person who had these must have tried to get most variations of the first 50 and stopped for some reason. The person I got them from was given these from someone who had passed away in California.
