Yo guys! In today's video we are checking out a new ToyWorld store that recently opened in a nearby shopping center. Interestingly only a few weeks prior this store was a ToysRUs store, but since they closed down here in Aus I guess someone had to take over... :,(

Both of the Toys R Us stores near me have went outta business. RIP. Made out like bandit on the cops out sale though so I guess that is plus. Slim pickings at the local Wally World... damnit.

I learned awhile back on how resellers / scalpers has ruin the hobby of collecting for anyone by stockpile all same car to sell, trade or recast any. i can see if u foget u have then u grab at time but if u got like 10 or more then that is just scalping. i have seen multiples of cars of same kind before and did only take a 1 or 2 and left rest for other kids to get any at time, but does not mean resellers or scalpers didnt grab later lol.

If I had a wish free to Hotwheels , please put one complete series into one box. So everyone gets a complete set. I hate these guys, who always take only the good looking cars out of a series and then sell them on Ebay at a fantasy price.

Diecast Cars Garage - you need to pay a visit to the Mattel store in El Segundo. The whole store is stocked with stuff like this and the latest stuff also. It’s fully stocked because they only let you take 1 of each 👌🏽

Walther Metz in America in the cities people literally make a living buying all the special hot wheels , sports cards, Pokémon stuff etc and just sell it on eBay.. it’s hard to find the more rare stuff

Damn shame they charge you $5.99, cos our more premiums are around the same as $5.20 (approx. £2.95) here in the UK. This place would be utter heaven over here & greatly appreciated!! I would've definitely had one of those Transits (golddust here in Britain & never found one), plus that blue 68 Camaro. I'd have got the MOMO 935 too ( I had a Burago 43scale in that livery but their 935 is like a 934.5 with a flatnose) & probably bought all 6 F&F, plus a spare Honda & the 71 Skyline 2000 GT-X to open up & give the Honda to my other half. She's always wanted that car of all the F&F cars. She never managed to find a Barbie Corvette.

Thinking about it now I really should've grabbed some more cars from the Redliners set because I don't think I'll ever see them again for as cheap, oh well :,( Funny that you're mentioning Burago as well, in the latest in store video that I recorded and edited yesterday I ended up coming across a few in a random loose car bin, and picked one of them up for free :D (no I didn't steal them, the owner of the place let me take them for whatever reason😂)

Up here in Newcastle N.S.W. Toyworld don't exist and the one Toys r' Us store that was going to renovate are now pulling out. The pegs are pretty starved of any new stock but a few turn up every now and then but over all a very disappointing show round here. I don't know why the over stock stores in the US don't send some to our part of the world...I'm guessing you're maybe from Melbourne or Brizzo. Great find and well done on having two Toyworlds in your town....send one here please. Cheers for the view

About four years ago they were a pound each . They have now crept up to as much as 1.79 for a regular hotwheels. Some special additions with real riders and metal chassis are as much as 6.99

@@madfrank7972 In the usa, they can be pretty cheap for hw like 94 cents at walmart, then creep up to more because of license or new brand label painted on the car. other places they a dollar or more depends where u get them from at time.

One thing I don't understand: if the mainlines are $2.50, how come the premiums are only $5.99? The mainlines here in the U.S. are usually $1 and the premiums are $4.99 - $5.49.

I remember finding our new Smyths Store in Norwich opened was as good as this. A year or so on & the place was depleted to about a third of the original HWs stock. Whether there's been a dispute between them & Mattel's distribution group, I don't know.

Big w here is hit and miss. Target is too far away.. kmart occasionally isnt bad.. Woolworths and coles have had as i type SHOP TRUCKS.. although i grabbed only 4 of the set missed out on surf board ute.. but in the time i was in coles the pegs were almost picked clean..
