Hot Wheels Legends Tour - Real Life Hot Wheels  

Not sure if this has changed or not but, Twinmill and the Deora II are usually kept at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. This looks like the third time Twinmill's color has been changed(unless there are three of them.) It was originally a green Spectraflame, then changed to a pink Spectraflame color. Twinmill has two 1,000 hp supercharged engines and the Deora has a supercharged NorthStar engine.

Over 300 people came to the Hot Wheels Legends Tour event in Avondale Arizona on September 22nd not knowing that they would be deceived. Yes, the Legends team know that only one vehicle would be picked. They also know that vehicle would be a truck at least 45 years old. I was there and began to realize something was wrong when team members were only talking to 2 owners of trucks and not looking at any other vehicles there. One of the vehicles was parked in front of my car and the team member kept coming and going for over 3 hours. They were looking at papers, pictures, and talking to the owner. When it was over another truck was picked. When I got home a media friend asked me who it went. I told him there was something wrong because they did not go around looking at cars. They were only talking with 2 owners of old trucks. He told me there was an article in the Arizona Republic newspaper (AZCentral.com) about the Legends Tour and that the team was only looking for a 45 year or older truck. At this point I knew that around 300 people that took time to prepare their vehicles and some having to drive a log distance to the event were all ripped off. I can’t believe Mattel would allow the Hot Wheels Legends Tour staff to conduct a total deception of hundreds of people knowing they would never even consider any of their vehicles unless one was an old truck. Yesterday I had a meeting with my media friend to discuss what I will do next. Since customer service did not respond to my email, and the fact the Legends Tour staff intentionally deceived hundreds of people, and that Hot Wheels management knew what was going on, I need to make this public. I will write an article including the article that appeared in the Arizona Republic and distribute it to local published and TV media. I will also include my attempts to contact emails Mattel, Hot Wheels, the Legends Tour staff, messages and emails. I also have pictures and video from the event. Now I will wait a couple of days to see if Mattel Hot Wheels is going to do to resolve this issue. They better not say it was a misunderstanding because a number od Legends staff have responded to messages and emails trying to justify what happened. Hot Wheels were my childhood, the Bone Shaker was the first car I ever had, the Twin Mill is my favorite and will always be!! I collect Hot Wheels and I have so many of these Legends Tours, including some that don't appear in this video, I'm from Italy and I live in Milan, I hope that one day there will be a Legends Tour in Italy so I can finally make my dream of seeing the cars of my childhood come true in real life, when I was younger I saw the Hot Wheels cartoon movies and I practically grew up with them, in a year I will have seen them a billion times, I can't wait for the event in Italy!!!!
