Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver Walkthrough 

A walkthrough for the most popular Hot Wheels game for the PC. This is another one of my favorite non-HE games of all time. Sony Vegas seemed to have a glitch when the video was rendered, so the audio appeared to go out of sync a little bit. Sorry for that, but it should be all right. Also, I tried playing this game in my virtual machines in Microsoft Virtual PC 2007, but it was only working on Windows 98, and the music seemed to be skipping.
I also tried it on some other operating systems, but I kept getting errors saying "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" and "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application," even on Windows Vista Home Premium (I lost my other Windows Vista virtual machine because of the computer crash that occured last year, so I made a new one).
If anyone knows a solution, please let me know. Instead, I played this game on my HP Vectra VL 6/350 Series 8 DT PC with Windows 98 and used my PC to TV converter box, and the video's quality is still fantastic. Now, on with the gameplay itself...
There are three sections in the game: Tournament, Track Editor, and Single Race. The Tournament section is basically the place where you race through six tracks and unlock new vehicles and tracks. If the player runs out of time, he or she will have to try again. The Track Editor is the place where you can create four tracks in a house's garage. Note that there's a limited about of sections to add, which is not really interesting. The Single Race mode is basically the place where you race on tracks without a time limit. I also showed the secret track in this game. I unlocked several cars in the game, but I did not unlock the last three.
I should say that Mattel did a great job on this game, and this has to be the best Hot Wheels game for the PC. The game is quite easy to play through. There is also a sequel to this game, which features some off-roading locations. With that said, enjoy!
