I just found this myself today. The silver WRX is the 2002 model. And the blue one is the 2016 model. The lack of the license plate does not bother me. However the windshield wiper blades is a major oversight. But unless another company like Tomica comes into my range, this casting is for me for now. It now gives a nice range of Subaru castings in my collection. In a way it replaces the 1/24 scale I owned years ago. The biggest problem I have with it is the Canadian pricing. At about $18.00 with taxes. But then again the secondary market is for the 2002 bug eyed model (the gray one) will likely be high for a bit. I do not support this market myself. A small price to pay at times to get castings that are on people's lists. Is it worth it?? For me it is seeing how few of these are on the pegs.
Wow.. Hot Wheels improved the steering wheel 😊 Hopefully they will do it on all their models. Or at least at the Premiums and above. The window build in situation and the missing wind screen wipers are little problems, which are known on cheaper DieCast cars.
@@DiecastDudeofficial Yes.. or at least they should do it. Because if not, they become only seen as a toy brand. And the value of colkectiblity could be gone, because other brands make it better. For example MiniGT, Poprace, Sparky, etc. Or even Majorette 😊
