This video introduces you to Hotel Barbara in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and on the main path between the train station and the tourist center at the Frieburg Münster (cathedral). It is located on a mostly quiet side street off the main path for pedestrians and cars. The hotel was started as a business by a family, and it has been run by the family for decades. The hotel has classic charms of an older hotel, but has been updated and modernized in all of the ways that really matter. Some rooms even have spectacular balconies that look out onto the street. Freiburg is known more as a college town than as a tourist town. While that is starting to change, the city still isn't flooded with tourists. If you are touring multiple places in south western Germany, eastern France, or northern Switzerland, Freiburg makes an amazing top spot to be able to chill out and relax in a less touristy city. In our opinion, Hotel Barbara is one of the very best lodging options in Freiberg.
