We were testing a IHG hotel propertys Fire Alarm system featuring the ADT Simplex ripoff t bar pulls at the time now replaced by BG12 type pulls & everyday common System Sensor advance horn strobes :)
@@LoyalmoonieProductions I'm saying that because of how SpectrAlert Advances are so common and overused, like the Wilhelm Scream being so overused and common in movies and TV.
Im staying at a hotel in Reno rn and they have multiple white spectralert advances horn strobes in all the rooms in our room (our hotel room has multiple rooms in it. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living area) as well as in the bathrooms. Hopefully they don't go off while I'm here (next 6 days)
What’s the panel? Also do you know if there were originally classics or something else here before they put in the advances or are the advances the original alarms.
I'm into Firearms as you Guys can tell by my Profile Picture, but Fire Alarms are more of what I like to call a Fear Driven Interest. There was a time I watched these kind of Videos a lot, so I got familiar with loud noises and the Models of different Alarms. Unfortunately my Work has Spectralert Advances (set to Code 3). The Advances are what tend to scare me the most right now. When I was in 6th and 7th Grade, the School did not at that time have Spectralerts, but instead had Simplex 2901-9833s (Signal Code was Continuous, and sounded pretty scary) on surface mount Plates, so no Strobes, and the outside had 9833s as well but with Single Projectors. The 9833 is what used to scare me the most, but the P2Rs have replaced this slight Phobia of mine. The School now has Spectralerts following an upgrade. I would prefer Simplex Electrical Mechanical Horns at my Job sometimes instead of the Red Nightmares it has haha.
