Also remember, never pre-order your hotel room days ahead because hotel employees connected to organized crime will have time to give you a staged room with cameras mics, bad locks etc. Always pick a random hotel in the area after you arrive there. If the employees gives you any suspicion change hotel immediately.
Of course this is not always possible and sometimes it’s better to pre-order your hotel for trip planning but it really all depends on who you are and what your risk assessment is for you personally
I've worked Executive/Hotel Security for years and I fully concur with your episode. Great tips and channel brother. Belt attached to door was brilliant 👌
sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Luciano Evan Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Bone i worked contract in the travel industry as well as in bar/nightclub security.... Ive always enjoyed ur videos as i have been a long time subscriber. But i like how uve steered to the more practical side of things. The exotic locations and beautiful women were great but this is useful. Keep it up!
Enjoying these series of videos. Would be nice to see a video of awareness training in a busy setting. Possibly a hotel/resort lobby, commons area, beach?
The first belt I got from kore was for everyday wear jeans and slacks and such. That 1 worked so well I got a 2nd 1 for duty work. It holds the weight of all of my equipment and looks good doing it. So I recommend these belts to everyone in my firearms training classes. "NRA Maryland State Firearms instructor"
Yes, being aware of your surroundings is very important. When I was younger partying with females we just met. Sometimes we where in a different neighborhood. I would look at my surroundings and looking for many eacape routes. Going to the market, mall or anywhere. Im going looking at the cars next to me, the one car with the lights on, people and not be on my phone while I'm walking. If I make eye contact with another guy and the eye contact goes beyond 3-5 seconds, I give knod assuring him I'm no threat and I keep going. I learned some new security pointers. Thanks!
What worked for me. Take a chair and put the back of the chair under the door handle so it can not be moved at all, jam it tight. This worked for me when I had nothing else to secure my hotel room door. Will it stop a swat team, no. But it stopped a hotel thief. Use zip ties to tie of anything on the door so you don't lose your belt if you have to bail. Rubber wedge under the door also works, or a wooden wedge with a nail hammered through it to dig into the ground. Also pole from the closet can be used, to either jam the door handle if you dont have a chair, or if its a tight space to actually brace the door to the opposite wall, that way no one is getting in. In tight space always brace the door to the opposite wall so anyone trying to push or kick in the door is actually fighting the opposite wall. Always sleep with the window open if you think you'll have to bail and sleep with full kit. Tie everything to yourself, so you can't lose it. Make sure you have no straps, belts, lose fitting clothes or shoelaces, that can snag on something (if you have to go out the window). Duct tape the shoelaces to your shoe (around the back of the heel) so they can't get undone. Stay safe.
Works well in movies but one kick from me and you’re regretting your chair hack! One of the things we help with a lot here are separating fiction from reality the hacks in this video work and reality and the security hacks you were discussing our perfection thanks for watching and glad you had the opportunity to learn some new things
Thanks for the video! Great advice. Anything you can do to give yourself any advantage is better than nothing at all. When it hits the fan you'll be thankful for that extra thirty seconds. Thanks man!
Great video! You always make me think when I watch them .You reinforce what I already know and I always learn something new in every video , Thank You. Stay Safe out there.
The main problem about security most do not think of it, till it is to late for it, they have been attacked or robbed, then think what could they had done before the attack or robbery, and they got their mind on everything else, but security...
you dont need to hair the drawer. Just a tiny dab of super glue holding it shut. When you come back you will feel the resistance of the glue break when you open the drawer. If you dont feel it the drawer was tampered (though the hair may provide a visual). Wet carpet and electrocuting people through door handles is another neat one (but not always effective in delivering a charge... although it can be used effectively as an alert trap to short circuit the room/hotel when it trips the safety switch which will wake you up. Using a cut off kettle cord or cut off extension cord. Love the videos. Thanks.
I'm visiting Medellin in January. A lot of things can go wrong so that's why I've been doing research. Devil's breath, muggings, motorcycle thieves, etc.
There's been this advertisement of DoorJammer gizmo around lately. What are your thoughts about that? Does it make sence to carry one around, or is it too cumbersome and heavy?
I put a light layer of baby powder on the carpet it leaves footprints let's u know a little more about who came in..also leave a old cell phone recording..caught something that happened in my sleep I would have never known about.
Kevin Fee be careful especially in foreign countries about doing stuff like that very likely to get a lot of unnecessary attention and even potentially land you in jail. Do you want the ability to stay safe but you don’t want anyone thinking that you were doing something illegal or are a intelligence agent of some sort
Wait and see some will even say they watched a video, but it was not for them, they do not feel they need to be security minded all the time, and that is why they got picked out of the crowd...
How do you feel about carrying a baton a lot of times I will carry an asp baton when I travel sometimes I'm unable to carry one so I have a three-piece walking cane that I carry with me I always notify people it is for Mobility reasons. I also have a traumatic brain injury from an attempted assassination so I have a service dog that is 100% trained as a service dog and also a guard dog. I had to stay at a hotel in New York a few weeks ago things are pretty sketchy in Manhattan and I was happy that I had him with me. As you know New York is one of the worst places to carry any type of weapons.
open the bathroom door and wedge something in it to hold it open... give u another door and more time i find =D took 30 mins for people to get in my place hahaha.
Bro, firstly sorry for the dumb question but is a question I have, and possibly other guys have too, for work in this kind of scenario, private security, or PMC, MSO, do you really need to be a ex mil? Hope you see this, I really have this question and i'am always digging in forums about this, and I want to hear you honestly opinion. Thanks for attention
No. Carrying a rubber doorstop with you everywhere you go is pretty nuts and not something most people can/would do. But if it works for you that’s fin!
I was in Guatemala Isabal, on the border of Honduras. I was in one of the small VW bus's a guy asked if i was CIA. Lol. The first time i seen some cut up with a Machete.
@@BoneTactical i was leaving Guatemala to Honduras we were all armed. About a mile from the crossing. We stoped by a old ladies house to drop off our guns. I was told it wad.easyer that way. Entering Honduras.we bribed the bordet cop with a 3 litter bottle of Pepsi. And a bag of cookies. We didn't want to get Searched going in and leavening. We bribed. A coo with cookies and a Pepsi. So funny
What are your thoughts on prepping after living in 3 world countries are there any tips tricks things Americans should do in case of collapse prepping channels haven't covered
i had 3 guys in Tijuana try to take me I didn't look like I had money someone double crossed me and thay know it's coming how do I get him if he is expecting me
It’s definitely not a fair fight and I would t have to go so far to use a BONE BREAKER but if their breaking in my room I’m not going to give them a chance
Do more shooting videos... how would you handle being surrounded by a larger force in a residence. For example you're by yourself and 3-5 armed guys surrounded your residence for whatever reason either to burglarize or kill you.
NYPrepper If it was only 3 to 5 guys with guns I wouldn’t necessarily need a firearm, if it was more than five then I probably would use one depending on how I’m feeling that day. But what I would do in a situation has very little to do with what my viewers would do. I make videos for you guys showing things that you can do that don’t require years of training and experience
@@BoneTactical I guess what I'm getting at is for the common citizen in a SHTF situation has their home surrounded by a group of armed raiders/marauders. Curious what your thoughts would be on how to handle that... retreat and live to fight another day? Surrender? Or dig in and fight? My idea would be to evacuate if I know they're coming let them occupy the house then use sniper fire directed at the house to get them out.
NYPrepper That’s obviously a situation that requires training and experience not something you can teach through a RU-vid video to the common citizen. It’s also a very specific situation that a common citizen would not experience unless the Raiders/marauders were perhaps the local swat team.
@@BoneTactical never say never though, depending on where someone lives they could experience armed gangs coming thru their area going door to door to pillage especially in a collapse of society.
Stop... stop... stop! Wait a minute. "Physical fit" ... "strong" ... endurance... etc. Hey, that's fine for a younger, healthy person.... But, unfortunately for me, and I hate to say it, but I'm gettin' up there in age. There is no reversing time for me. For me, if we're talking "physical" (as opposed to pulling a trigger), if I don't defeat a physical threat in the first 1.38 seconds... They won't have to worry about defeating me because I'll be so out of breath or in heart-attackville, that it won't matter. Do a video on this.... "How to defeat a threat (physically), even if you are completely out of shape (or old)." Sounds like a good challenge for ya. Can you handle it? Thanks. ;)
RackAttackGamer Age is no excuse for living a sedentary lifestyle. As a strength and conditioning coach I can help you get yourself in shape regardless of your age but you should start by filling out the questionnaire in the strength and conditioning portion of www.bonetactical.com
This video is a very good video I do a lot of security work for VIPs. A lot of times if I'm traveling and I'm by myself I will bring my walking cane with me. A walking cane is a great weapon if you know how to use it I also carry my neck knife. I'm getting ready to order one of your neck knives to test it I'm going to give it the same test I give all other knives I carry. including shooting at using it to break a brick and a bunch of other things I'll let you know how it goes.
@@BoneTactical I wouldn't bet my life on neither that, your belt or any other solution. The main things are the delay and the extra noice it makes, when somebody tries to open the door, and your escape or counterattack-plan to be implemented in that time.
Lino Jakobsen The ability for a man to admit when he’s wrong or lack thereof is a huge sign of character. I hope you take something positive from our interaction and learn not only about safety and security, but also leave here today with the ability to look introspectively at your own ego. I have a great rest of your week and weekend stay smart stay safe
