Hey all. Just shopping around. How would you compare this to a resort like Riu Peninsula or Riu Palace Riviera Maya? I believe I searched for luxury resorts in Cancun and this one was included.
We've only stayed at Riu Palace in Jamaica but of what we know about Riu resorts in general as compared to Xcaret Arte, Arte is definitely a more luxurious experience in our opinion. The resort grounds are stunning and well maintained, even the standard level rooms are very nice, food was top notch and one of our favorite things was that each section of rooms has its own rooftop pool. Oh and of course access to Xcaret parks included!! 🤌💯
Do you have access to Xcaret Hotel next door or are the two completely separate? We loved Xcaret but are wondering if we should stick with what we know or try out Arte this year. Thanks in advance!
When they say "All-Inclusive" it doesn't usually mean that everything is covered, despite the title. I know y'all probably don't know everything but I thought I'd ask, anyway. Are alcoholic beverages covered? What about spa services? Finally, do you have access to all parks included in the price or just Xcaret?
The all inclusive includes food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages), shuttle transportation and from the airport, and transportation to the various parks to which you have unlimited access: Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xenses, Xoximilco, Xavage and Xenotes. Some of the parks do have activities that are an extra charge and are not included so be mindful of this. The resort also has some free activities such as workshops, canoes, and paddleboards. Spa treatments are not included and will be an extra cost. You can find this info and more by visiting the hotel website. Hope this helps!
This was during the October month. Small or large resort, you could potentially have to deal with crowds. Because this resort has great pool / beach areas in addition to the parks, it doesn't seem as crowded.
One of our favorites was the Japanese restaurant, Tah-Xido, but we would definitely recommend trying as many of them as you can!! Hope you enjoy your trip!
Check out part 2 if you haven't already! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OtHR6Fw3XWs.html Both resorts were amazing but we preferred Arte overall because it's adults only, has rooftop pools for each resort casa, and you can visit hotel xcaret as well!
You can canoe at the resort, however the hotel provides transportation to Xplor Park where you can zipline amongst other activities! Check out part 2 to see more of the ziplining ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OtHR6Fw3XWs.html
If you stay at Arte you can go to Xcaret; however, since Arte is adults only we aren't sure if staying at Xcaret you're able to visit Arte. There may be a day pass available but we recommend checking with the resort for verification!
During our stay they didn't have anything at the pools. However, there is a "secret bar/Speakeasy" for nightlife parties/vibes. We show it in our part 2 coming soon.
