Testing a "Hotguitar Customshop P-bass".
I tried to install my Sansone handmade strings in this bass to record this video ...phenomenal strings! And thebass..!? Listen it! ;)
This is an "All Parts" assembled bass by Salvatore Lissandrello.
Bare Knuckle '58 Split Coil P pickup, Alder body, Maple neck and fingerboard. Fiesta Red gloss finish, Sansone handmade strings.
Recorded live on Focusrite soundcard through balanced output of Gallien Krueger Fusion 550 bass head.

I’ve had the BK P58 in my 99 Fender P bass for nearly a decade. Thank goodness mine doesn’t sound as bad as this one, or I man never have tried it. In this test, it comes across as a one trick pony. Try closing down the tone some, give it some T-I jazz flats, LaBella Deep Talking flats, or even Smith ultralight rounds, and you’ll hear a dramatic improvement
