At 4:40...just FYI, you switched the expired nav-database that was in the ACTIVE slot with the new, current database which was in the SEC slot. However, you then switched them back in the next actions. That's why the ACTIVE DATA BASE was YELLOW, showing that it was expired. None of these actions is done to clear the flight plan. You want to make the ACTIVE DATA BASE slot is filled with the current nav-database dates and is not YELLOW. I've been flying the Collins FMS since 2006 in both the DA200 and the CL300/350. Same FMS as in the CL650. Again, just FYI.
Just a tip, wait until you have ac power fully established before you arm the emergency lights. When you armed them there was actually an indicator that they were on. The reason I say this is because this will drain the battery very fast, and if you lose battery you would need to get a gpu. If you do this at the end of the flight and you have the aircraft respawn in its past state, your battery will die. To fix this you need to disarm the emergency lights with ac power on. In your case, to turn off and re arm the lights, you would turn on the apu gen, disarm, then re arm the lights. Hope this helps.
Just a trick that work in the real airplane and in Hot Start CL650, in the PERF INIT page, you can press the DEL key, take the DELETE from the scratch pad, place it in the FUEL field, and the FMS will automatically read the total fuel capacity sensed in the fuel tanks. Instead of saying MANUAL FUEL, the line will say SENSED FUEL.
Hi, excellent video and instructions, thanks. But...if someone were inclined to only follow a quick start procedure then it is not worth spending the money on this excellent product. The joy of this product is its realistic procedural complexity...from the FBO to shutdown.
The reason I loved this video specifically is that I don't have 40 minutes to every time to just run tests. I want to get in the air in 15 minutes, and that was it.
Very great that the fl flightplan is loaded into the sec fpl as it is in real. Fslabs e.g. Loads it into the active one, which is actually wrong so nice job from hot start. Veeeery realistic plane!
@Ryjano What? Fslabs Airbus is NOT wrong, that´s the way it is in the real Airbus, flightplan is loaded in Primary and YOU copy it to the Secondary. FSLabs modeled it correctly.
I just got the aircraft, the best on the market, haven't seen this level of realism ever not to mention the security installation, very well implemented, i enjoyed a lot your video, makes easier enough to get this and learn, plenty docs, but i would like very much to have the x-camera settings you have if you please be so kind, i appreciated, also i have joined your discord server. take care.
Nice video! Thx. Have you got for every phase of the flight? I has a problem that I couldn't move the wheel. I guess I missed to do something at the very beginner, on the pre flight inspection.
Make sure u remove the “gear pin” from the nose gear.. your hydrolics will need to be on and you will need to open nose gear door.. this feature was added after my video
@@BluGames thank you. I figure it out. I did properly but the wheel didn't like to get right. I had to call better pushback and then deactivate it. After that I made more than 15 flights without problem. Really beautiful plane
Been a while for me, but on lineup, you should hit the TOGA button (on the thrust lever) to get the proper rotation pitch in the FD. If the simulation is accurate, you should also be able to partially advance the throttles and the ATS will take over to set takeoff power.
Jan S - Not sure if this helps until the answer can be solved ideally, BUT if you are stuck like I was, simply go back into career mode and start with a new airframe that will reset everything and the issue is gone. With all the updates over the last couple days, maybe something got stuck. LOVE this plane. 😁
Sorry i didnt see this sooner. The only way i found to fix this is to start over fresh with a new airframe like todd said. I had the same issue on like my 3rd flight
great video thanks! I have one comment regarding the import of the flight plan. The only way it would work for me is by putting in my flight number rather than the city pairs. Wierd because watching your video you used city pairs. This comment is just in case there are others that had this issue. Maybe you would consider doing a video on the ILS approach for the Challanger? TY
HI CAN YOU DO A DOWNLOAD LINK FOR YOUR VARIUOS SAVE STATES TAXI TAKEOFF ETC SO USERS CAN EASLIY MOVE YOUR SAVE STAES TO THE FOLDER AND LOAD THEM FOR QUICK START FLYING OPTION
I Cant Fly This. I Really Only Have Extensive and Detailed Knowledge of a Cessna C152, a Cessna C172 G1000, a Diamond DA40 and a Diamond DA42. I Know a Little about a Cirrus SR22, a Little about a Cessna Citation II 500, a Little about a Gulfstream G500. Extensive Knowledge of an ATR 72 Turbo Prop: However I Wouldn't be able To Fly it. Its Big like an Oil Tanker. I Simply wouldn't be able to use My Eyes to Fly it. A Little about a Airbus A300 and Airbus A310/320. A Little about Boeing 747. So its Only Cessna C152, a Cessna C172 G1000, a Diamond DA40 and a Diamond DA42 for Me, That I Can Fly.
