honestly I use to like naruto vs neji but after I took away nostalgia, I realized the fight kinda sucks. Nejis philosophy was kinda correct and also becomes relevant again in late shippuden with ashura/indra. Naruto didn’t really prove neji wrong cause he didn’t defeat him with his own strength, but rather with a huge 👿 power that he was born with. Also he took so many blows yet he somehow won with one punch and plot armour

@@wienee I am a firm believer that Naruto and Sasuke didn’t start out as the reincarnations of Asura and Indra. Think about it: Sasuke didn’t start out as this Uchiha with so much hatred, and Naruto didn’t start out as this kid who loved people and was loved by others. They were picked to be those reincarnates eventually as time progressed. Here’s another example: Madara was the reincarnation of Indra, but after he took Hashirama’s cells and awakened the Rinnegan, he became the reincarnation of Hagoromo (or at least the reincarnation of Hagoromo’s power), and Hagoromo himself noted that when he was talking to Naruto and Sasuke in that purgatory realm. Lastly, Naruto and Sasuke broke the cycle of violence between Asura and Indra after their fight at the Final Valley. It’s possible that at that point, Naruto and Sasuke no longer became the reincarnations of Asura and Indra. Even Naruto himself said to Hagoromo before the fight that he was not Asura, and Sasuke was not Indra. They changed their destiny there, so Naruto could’ve changed his destiny from being a failure according to Neji, to being the reincarnation of Asura. I definitely think Neji was wrong about not being able to change your destiny. The point I’m trying to make is that anyone could’ve became the reincarnation of Asura and Indra even after birth. You don’t have to like the Naruto vs. Neji fight, but you and Swagkage are objectively wrong about that fight being like the worst.

yeah these are great this and the kara arc hopefully become the template for this stuff, anime could to all the training they cant show in the manga it would really be good synergy between the mediums

Yeah, these episodes are cool and they show ninjas actually doing signs and enemies not absorbing every jutsu, but the problem is that when you put it in the grand scheme of things, they're pretty much irrelevant which is a shame...

@@l3fari0us42 it's the bane of the series, the sheer ridiculousness of the power scaling has resulted in the basic tenants of the show (hand signs, jutsu, tactical fights) completely irrelevant and basically worthless when the real enemies show up. Nowadays your skill as a ninja means nothing next to some buff like Karma or a random cyborgs dojutsu. Evidence: All the Otsutsuki (literal immortal chakra space gods) are dead......lmao

@@gafitas05 Interesting. A friend of mine who reads the manga told me... MINOR SPOILER Apparently Sarada doesn't really progress much all the way up to the current issues. No idea if that's true since I don't read them myself but if so, it's strange decision to have her as the only Chunin. Also that sucks for Shikadai since he'll be the only Chunin on Ino-Shika-Cho yet again. Oh well, Sarada is my fav so I hope anime-canon provides her with some awesome shit since the manga wont.
