This foundation looks gorgeous and right up my ally!! I love that it’s fragrance free! I’ll wait till a sale but I’m def eyeing it! So far I use the TF shade and Illuminate and No 1 de Chanel and am in love with both! ❤️ thanks for all of your hard work and honest reviews!

So this one is less glowy than the Tom Ford one and maybe more similar to the Chanel… somehow it has a special luminosity to it but it still stays natural on the skin..

I absolutely love your wear tests! They are real mom makeup wear tests and when you popped up at the end. Girl same😂I felt that look and adore that you are so real and don’t sugar coat a real day and the life of a parent and give us an honest opinion how the foundation lasted. I actually really like that it faded so evenly not patchy or that it didn’t separated funny around the mouth and nose. You still looked fabulous, momma hair and all💛🙌

Hi Tania! Thank you for this review. I have several hourglass products..The foundation looked beautiful on you and per your review I think I'll try it. If there is radiance and glow I'm in! I may even try the bronzer since you liked it. Stay cool! It is also blistering hot in Boston!

You know I had to wait for your review. I had to hear your thoughts and I had to know what shade to get 😉 I had already decided that the Lancome wasn't for me, so all bets were on the HG. Thankfully, the HG is a winner. From a couple of the other reviews I've seen, less is definitely more with this foundation - which makes me happy as I enjoy a lighter coverage. You looked like you had a lot of fun today 😂😂 Oh yes, the cream eyeshadows look beautiful. I knew as soon as I saw the swatches they were special. I love that they have a good glow without any shimmery bits. Beautiful 😍 Lots of love to you 💗🤍💗🤍💗🤍💗

I have the original Lancôme foundation and it blurs my pores but feels slightly heavy, I think I just love lighter feeling foundations. I don’t own anything from Hourglass but I want to get their foundation after I’m done with my Lancôme. Thanks for sharing! ❤️

I'm so excited to get this one. Only thing I'm worried about is the shade choice. I was going back and forth between 6.5 ,7.5 and then 5 lol 😅 I chose 5 figured if too light I could always bronze if up. Can't wait to get my Sephora order this week .

It looks like it didn’t oxidize? So glad to hear you say this had more radiance than the Lancôme. 😅 The finish is so beautiful on you 😍 I ordered the 6.5 and 7.5 on a wing and a prayer so I’m relieved the 6.5 worked for you 👏🏼 I lucked out this time but I should always wait for your reviews 😬 So much for my low-buy 😬 but so excited for this 💕🌸

@@TaniaBWells So I swatched the 7.5 and 6.5 on my arm and face and waited a couple of hours. To my eye, the 7.5 has a rosy undertone and seems more on the medium side than light medium. The 6.5 works is better for me. I don’t own anything similar to the 7.5. Hope that helps ❤️

I’ve been waiting for your review on this! I am very close to your skin tone and I couldn’t figure out what shade I would be in this foundation online. I’m neutral but a bit peachy and have a hard time finding matches in some foundations. How does this compare to the new NARS? Both claim to have the blurring properties.

I think they are quite similar. Hourglass lasted better on me than Nars one did and it is not quite as glowy!

This looks beautiful on you!😍 I had the same issue. I use warm ivory in their own foundation stick and did the sephora color match online and it matched me to 7. I tried 3 of my favorite foundations: HG- Warm Ivory, Huda- Toasted Coconut & NARS radiant wear- Punjab. 7 was too warm and orange. You would think color matching to its own brand would be the perfect match but not this time. I ordered 6.5 & 7.5 because of the undertone. Hoping one of those work😒

I think I am dark brown in kosas! I really loved the pencil! I think I like it better than huda one cause i can fill in my brows faster yet still have the precision that I want.

I grabbed a sample and ended up 7.5 which is neitral..the 6 range was warm and or dark so surprisingly this one was lighter? The sephora site is recommending 7. I am using it today and would like it to work out although I have a full bottle of the Ilia 😁. I have an oily tzone, large pores and am 48 🤞

@@TaniaBWells fyi..it dried pretty pink for me...still doable defintely not my shade though. Same as you, It didn't wear great. I'm still testing it It does go on nicely and feels light and not too oily on my combo skin which is nice...let's see😊

I tried the Nars light reflecting and by the end of my work day it was slipping. I used the benefit porfessional primer in my tzone

I LOVE the tom ford primer! It is an arm and a leg but it works so so well for pores!!! And you need the smallest amount! Also it keeps helps with oily skin. Foundation.. i would not recommend Nars! I don’t have oily skin and it was moving around after 5 h even on me! I think the Dior forever Matte is amazing and the Givenchy foundation are amazing and long lasting!!

It looks great on you! But I’m no longer buying any foundation after I found my true HG - Nars light reflecting. But who I’m lying to🤷‍♀️ maybe I will get a sample from Sephora when its available in stores. Okey.. I will probably get a sample 🤣 my love for makeup never dies 😆

Hm.. I like how the Lancome looks on the skin a bit better, and it lasted longer as well.. but that fragrance… is a big negative.

@@TaniaBWells oh no. I still have to wear a mask at least 8hrs of the day for work so I was looking for something that was transfer resistant. But the scent is a big no no for me. I had to return to chanel n1 foundation due to the scent as well. Oh darn. Thanks for a lovely and honest review. 😊

I’m kinda surprised at how that shade worked out. I tried HOURGLASS a long time ago and still own and use many of their products today but I never found my shade in the foundation stick and I’m a stick foundation kinda gal. I’m usually a light medium more light but not too golden. Riding the struggle bus when it comes to finding my shade in NARS and HOURGLASS. MARC JACOBS extra shot in 180 is almost my perfect match. Anyone have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

Half of my foundations matched to 7.5 and the other half matched to 6.5. Like you, I stuck with neutral since this brand leans yellow. I have their concealer in Cedar which claims a peach undertone but it looks yellow to me 🤷🏻‍♀️ The 7.5 model is darker than me but everyone has been saying how the photos are way off. I’m usually a match to Tania so it looks like I’ll be keeping the 6.5 and sending the 7.5 back without opening it. Thanks for sharing!

@@AllyKit oh the models are def darker than the foundations they are showing. I am prob at least 2 maybe 2 1/2 shades lighter than the model for 7.5. So that much is true for certain

@@TaniaBWells update. It is a little yellow but with my concealer and other makeup it works out and it really looks beautiful!!!! The shades were a struggle but it looks great! Gettin a late start but I’ll try again tomorrow but I think it is gonna wear well

Hm.. i do think it would work! If I were to suggest maybe the Lancome would work better over fine lines, however it has a strong fragrance
