@@nicknamedd_ i was mostly talking about how the house seems both pretty and practical, no room is really too big or too small and everything makes sense. i have no problem making cute houses, but when it comes to the interior it's just a big mess lol
The beginning is so reminiscent of Coraline the Book. In the book, she walks away from the house, and it’s misty outside. She’s walking with a cat (which can talk when she’s in the Other World) and they’re just talking. All of a sudden, the house appears from the mist. They’ve been walking in a straight line for five minutes. The visuals and your reaction reminded me so much of that moment. Just a thought. Super cool vid!

Honestly feel like ARGs are just going the way of mascot horror: Interesting concept that becomes instantly popular, with people shortly following up on that popularity by turning childhood favorite games into low effort "horror". It tries so hard to be psychologically disturbing, but we've all seen it before at this point
ok so clearly this isn't as old of a version as you'd assume from the opening, clearly a texture pack is being used based on the glass texture, but seeing the glazed terracotta it would make most sense to assume it's a texture pack made time wise post world of color update being used on an older version of minecraft
spooky stuff aside, i don't know how to explain it, but this perfectly encapsulates my minecraft memories from back then. super flat worlds, little wooden structures, the tiny render distance, the desaturated visuals i remember from pretty much every video on youtube at the time. all of that just gave me a big nostalgia punch in the face; although, the glazed terracotta and concrete kinda took me out of it a little.
That feeling of returning to your childhood home where you grow up. The difference is that now you return as an adult and everyone is gone. Place in now dark, cold, and lonely. The family and friends with them have long moved on or are gone. Now it's just you alone in that once lively place that used to be warm and happiest all the time. Alone with your memories and thoughts. Wondering to yourself what was the point of it all if it all would end one day.
This video have an special aura. Like, you spect that something happens but it doesn't appears until the end, when you thought that nothing special is going to occurred. Even the music and graphics affect in give you a feeling of nostalgia, but also fear.

this video came up on my feed and i clicked out of curiosity. at first i thought it was someone just showing off a house they made, then i slowly realized inconsistencies and by the time the scar happened i genuinely jumped. very well made video!
hermano, cuando yo era chico soñe con esa casa. era un mundo plano y estaba esa casa y habian unas construcciones algo alejadas. adentro la casa estaba hueca, no habia ni piso. yo estaba en el sueño en creativo jugando junto con unos primos, volando por el mundo mientras hablabamos. A lo que me refiero es que el diseño nostalgico de la casa y del video esta muy bien hecho. apenas vi la miniatura recorde ese sueño de hace años y te juro que era exactamente la misma casa.
I had a dream like this once. I remember as a child I was super into MCPE, and there was this app that let you install maps, and I remember seeing one with this creepy house on it, and playing it and just feeling this overwhelming sense of dread. It all felt so wrong, yet it was just a Minecraft house.

This was legit super well done, a combination of watching old minecraft videos and begging for your parents to get it back in the day, the uncannily oddly realistic house interior, and the analogue horror turn at the end with the basement, all with old minecraft sounds and music
that is pretty good combination of concrete and glazed terracotta I have to give you that. and the lifeless can be fix with some crafting table and flower pot made with trapdoor and dirt ofc,just a block of melon can fix anything
There is no furniture - that's what makes this place unnatural, empty, newly purchased and therefore frightening. Like a sinister valley, only about a house from minecraft. Put a couple of steps and book blocks and it will be fine.
It looks like the first house you built after you've watched a "how to build better" tutorial and you are hella proud of it. Man if this was 11 year old me he would be very proud. Freaky ending tho
At first I thought it was gonna be horror. Then I started thinking, "Ok, maybe this is just a somewhat unsettling showcase of a house this guy built in Minecraft." Then it went straight back to horror. Idk of this was intentional or not, but I really like how this video makes you let your guard down for a little bit.
