Good job I cannot wait to start the bill My House in Philippines I think I will start next year thank you guys for giving me some ideas and experience when I start with my house trying to leave the cold in New Jersey thank you very much keep up the good work
Looking good each day a lot of progress on the house build in just a few days the workers are always busy and moving fast foreman is on top of things and it's good to see you guys getting involved and asking questions when u see something that doesn't look right then get an explanation from the foreman telling u why so that's a good thing keep up the good job with the videos .👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙂
Came across your channel a week ago. I'm enjoying your house build videos. Giving me a good idea of what to expect when my wife and I decide to build. We have a lot in Antel Grand Village near Noveleta, Cavite. I'm excited watching your house build, I can only imagine how exciting it was for you.
I enjoy waking up early each morning to watch your house build , as I am soaking up all your idea's & information for our future house build in the Philippines . The house build here in Australia is very different. The first thing I would do is purchase the brick layers a rechargeable angle grinder with diamond tip disc/blade to cut in the crnr hollow blocks to suit ,rather than using a hammer to chip away , thus giving the wall more integrity. Keep up the good work .
Providing tie beam across the wall and across the the upper window frame will prevent the wall from earthquake crack. I'm not a civil engineering but we most did in India ,applying two or three tie beams for single wall the tie beam should touch from pillar to pillar.
I already notice that but they have 2 different of mix one for the hallow block and one for the column and i think if the use the mixing board its quite heavy to move around all the time ..Who knows i dont know whats their thought about that i havent ask.
I always wonder why the do the head of the window opening the way they do. Really the block work is resting on 2 rebars then it’s hooked up on the vertical rebars. Such a funny way of doing it. It’s all taking shape 👍👍👍
That wall with the gaps for windows, you cannot lay any blocks or bricks in that way. One full block, two half blocks. You have just laid block on block
I see you have lots of rebars. I’m a worried about mine now. Just hope you don’t have an earthquake, your wall looks so vulnerable. My wall I just built fell down in the earthquake we had in April. Because I wasn’t ready to pour the concrete in the columns.
Again coordination issue on downspout connection. Too much inbetween hollow blocks, standard is 3/8 inch. Measurement is 8 inches, i think the way this worker do it is install the block first anfpd then put the guide lines, instead measures 8 inches apart all the way up and just move if as they add blocks. Whete is the lintel block over the window opening? It is not dowels, it is the vertical rebar not dowel, sorry using wrong terminology.
A question is the top of the kitchen not to low? 1,65meter. the floor wil also come up because of the tiles 5 cm. And than a other question why is a pipe in the middle of the wall? it is better ask questions when you building otherwise its maybe to late.
Their hallow blocks is not done they are just in the header part where they put a lintel beam and our ceiling height will be 9ft . The pipe in the middle is going to be hidden after plastering and that is for the sewage from 2nd floor.
I don’t understand why do you still have two discharge pipes going to the inlet of the septic tank. Does pipe fittings cost that much...I think I understand the logic supposing one of the floors is plugged up you have a back up floor to do your business...
@@retiredandhappyinphilippin3329 depends on how much you and your husband paid for the house being build .. Because later I watch many houses being build in the Philippians most of the walls have cracks Inside of the house . But it no biggie but when I move there my house will be made of bamboo and bricks .
No offence, but not impressed at all with the construction methods. Why use block at all? Price? What type of roofing are you using? Good luck, must be exciting :)
@@retiredandhappyinphilippin3329 I hear ya! I am very much considering retiring there myself, so try to learn as much as I can from Yoiutube :) Only thing I worry about is if everything will be just as expensive in Philippines as it is in the USA before I get there!! Seems like prices are going up fast. Not being able to own land myself is also bothersome especially if everything keeps going up. Wish you guys luck! Hope to get there one day.
