Does anyone else admire his gift of mimicry I'm always amazed to see how well he can do the bird calls 😄

I often get house finches at my birdfeeders. I saw a more yellow colored male house finch the other day?! Great video, Dan!

Just found your channel and love ❤️! I have a gang of house finches that come to my fire escape feeder (nyc). Your enthusiasm is palpable.

I did not know that a group of house finches was called a development. That’s pretty funny! Where I live should call them Apartment Finches, because they loved to hang out on our 2nd story San Francisco fire escape of our apartment. That warble song the male makes is the sound of summer to me. I get instantly transported back to the backyard of my parents house when I hear it.

Well naturally, a group of houses is a housing development.🤣

Really liking this series. Keep it up! Quick question, when you mimic the finch call, are you blowing out with the front teeth?

Do u think you can do a tutorial on how to do the house sparrow call, that would really help. If not that's ok! 😁

Because you developed a neighborhood of houses, so a group of house finches is a development

I just discovered your channel via this video. These are great & so informative! I also just put a bird feeder right outside my office window which is what spurred me to lookup house finches, I definitely just saw two of them scoping out a place for a nest in our carport earlier today. Keep up the great work!

I've noticed that the names of a large group of the same bird have a logical name. House finch, housing development. Crows, murder of crows. That last bit of info is very informative.
