Fabulous build! Good tutorial on how to build and place stairs. I love the fact that we now have complete window sets. The new tiling mechanism is much better. Noticed that you also found inconsistencies in how many panels you can do at once. But I am not complaining, because it is much faster and does above and below window in one go. Laughed when you had to change out the window to get the floor tiles to work. The struggles are real. And balcony mechanics! thanks so much for sharing your skill.

Wowza! This house is beautiful! Question for you, that palm tree you used outside, is that no longer on the workshop? I can't find it and it wasn't on your list of workshop items either.

Aww thank you so much Joshua! I think there is something wrong with this mod, it is no longer in the workshop, and when I tried to access the item via my subscribed items list, an error message appeared, but it still works fine in the game.

You have to finish all jobs of the new Farm DLC to unlock all the building tools (perks).

Yes, and after you finish the jobs make sure to upgrade the building skills using the perk points. You're welcome!

Yes, this kind of problem can occur after the updates. I use the Xbox game bar to record my screen and Clipchamp for editing. You're most welcome Blue! ❤

@@HOMEDESIGNGAMES For example, when I wanna make modern style house, I just use Black panel floor and white paint for the wall and ceiling, it's kinda boring 😂 , but when i use my floor and wall combination, it feels weird and doesn't match sa you make.😢

Oh sorry!! I thought you had a problem with the new architect tool (building and adding new extensions to existing homes). I usually use light/dark brown wood for the floor and keep the ceiling white... here are some good wall/ceiling color combinations: light gray ceiling with dark gray wall/beige ceiling with beige walls/crystal ceiling with light blue walls. But if you want to know more about color matching, I recommend using google images or pintrest for inspiration. I hope this helps!😊

You can't add new floors to an existing house (you can only add extensions). You can find alternatives in the Steam Workshop (ceilings/roofs) to build a second floor.

@@HOMEDESIGNGAMES - question: is the building resource heavy on your computer? Does it get laggy after a while? I saw some videos with many rooms but most were empty or just one couch or one bed. Made me wonder if it got laggy on them. I don't know if you've seen the screenshots I post to HF, but I'm the worst in the world about using too many WS items, lol. That would make it even more laggy for me. Just curious as I wait for a new patch to solve some of the problems. :)

No, I haven't encountered any lag in my game so far, maybe because I haven't started creating large houses with more rooms and furniture yet... and using a lot of workshop items on these houses can definitely cause lag issues 😅. I have seen some of your work BTW and I really like your style ❤ I love the details you put into each room!!! 😊

First you need to create a collection and start putting items in it (under each item there is a button marked "Add to Collection"), then go to the collection and click on "share", this will give you a link to copy and share it with everyone. Thank you so much Cristina!! ❤😊
