This is the first new build I've seen in a while that is actually a decent with good storage! Storage makes such a difference! Really lovely property 🤩 xx
House was lovely. Interested to follow your journey. I'm in the process too but with the mortgage proces ATM I'm going to wait a bit longer see if the interest rates lower. Also I'm sure your already aware but with new builds what you see in the show home doesn't come as standard. For example the tiles in the bathrooms are usually the upgrades, the kitchen appliances are usually upgrades. The houses (unless you receive a promo) don't come with flooring. Loads of questions to ask as sometimes it's worth getting the house basic package and upgrading the tiles and floors with a company of your choice. 🏡
It’s a lovely home Laura! Good luck on your home buying journey! Remember it can be stressful but totally worth it! Me and my boyfriend bought a new build home last year and we love it! ❤
Oooo lovely house Laura but the decor is horrendous! Can see you both there, it’s always a good sign when you start imagining your stuff in it! Happy house hunting, look forward to more.😊
How exciting you’re finally going on this journey! That house looked ideal 🤩 are you planning on showing the whole process? Would be so interesting to know what to expect when buying a house 🙌🏻
Sooo excited for you and Mitchell Laura. Can't wait to see which house u end up buying. Really enjoying your journey. Lovely couple. Best youtuber. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love love love this house!! If it was me I’d get a bigger dining table and take up majority of that dining area space with the table and a sofa in the bay window space - imagine Christmas 😍😍
I'm so nosy, i love looking around houses, favourite tv show is escape to the country, you gotta view as many houses as you can, don't rule out older doer uppers, better built x
OMG! I literally can see no drawbacks with that house unless it's the garden?? I was thinking as I was watching "this house is so Laura!" I could literally see you decorating it for various events during the year. Utility near the office so you can nip out to put a wash on. 😄 Only thing though - where would the Christmas tree(s) go??
Aww I know we really do love it 🙊😍 … literally just what we are looking for! And haha I was thinking the same about the Christmas trees! I was thinking one in the bay window in the open plan living/dining/kitchen - didn’t actually show that bay window but I was so spacious and beautiful so definitely room for a tree then one in the living room too haha! 😅🤣 xxxx
I think u said these were Bloor homes, there’s lots of other builders on the market like barratts/David Wilson/persimmon/redrow/Taylor wimpey, go see them all and see how they compare - good luck 😉 x
Uk houses never have that huge open plan feel like US houses unless you are paying like 1 million for them 🤣 … depending where you live… house prices are quite expensive and don’t tend to get no where near as much as you could in some places in the states! Xx
I live in a new build myself and would stay well away! Made very cheaply with Extortionate prices, and although they look lovely from the outside there are So many issues with them which dont become apparent until around a year. We would never buy a new build again!
Ahhh really! I mean we haven’t 100% made our mind up yet anyway we are going to just keep looking and see what’s out there but I do think new builds depend on the new build firm too - Mitchell’s dad/brother are builders and works for the ones we looked at in particular and said they are a really high standard and to be fair compared to other new builds we’ve seen you can tell a massive difference! Xx
Thanks Laura, I still look forward to looking around new houses in your content with Mitchell...its a very exciting time for you both and I hope you find the perfect home 🏡
if it is like the states, they totally spec out the models so everything that you is extra. So lets say that is $500,000 by the time you build it like the model you have added $100k- $500k
Yes looking to buy! We aren’t buying to make money - we are buying just to have a nice home to live in. I don’t particularly want a Reno project or anything that requires massive work doing as we just don’t want the hassle or stress for our home that we want to live in and buy together. We are defo wanting to buy to renovate and sell in the future to make money but not for us right now xx
I think in the uk u guys are used to separate rooms. Our homes here in the us is much bigger and spacious my apartment is as big as her first floor and we have a 3/2 and this is considered a small apartment I wonder why they still make homes with so many rooms to enter in the uk
I love open plan and also the option of a separate cosy room too but yeah the houses over here definitely aren’t as spacious or as cheap as what they are in the states! Obviously depending on area that is but For example I looked in Florida at what we could buy and our house would literally be double the size lol xxx
