I love how Hugh's accent isn't switching back to his English even the bloopers. I even remember people saying his actual accent was toned down in the interviews during filming of House.
Funny thing is, he said in a few interviews that he didn't keep the accent intentionally between scenes (e.g. like method acting), so likely he just forgot to switch back.
@@GRegBellay If you've ever acted, you know that actors really get into the character and often keep speaking with the same mannerisms or accent even out of the scene when they're on set and in costume. They just get so into the character that it's hard to snap out of it.
Sometimes, when Hugh is walking with his cane and a limp, he keeps doing that even after he realizes he screwed up the line and they'll have to retake it.
Cuddy's laughs are so funny you know shes chill like that thats like me in the kitchen at work, that 1 stoner laugh bellying out when people roast eachother
4:07 Seeing this right now was (I think) the first time I really appreciated that everyone in this show is an actor dealing with some very challenging lines. I mean I always knew it's a TV show but on some level I think I always imagined they all had a medicine degree or something.
Wow, nearly 2 decades since saw some of these episodes. Having grown up on Laurie's british comedy show career.. his transformation to House was pretty remarkable. I guess could say something remarkable about Jennifer Morrison for that outfit at 3:43 , but I forget what the context was.
Considering how House's character is dark, it's like watching a blooper reel of a horror movie, it breaks all the immersion and you remember Hugh Laurie is actually a comedian. Wilson stays as Wilson when he breaks character lol
House's character is not dark you pearl clasping nun, he's *cynical.* Dark would be if he didn't want to help people at all and *only* cared about the solution. He went out of his way and risked his career multiple times for strangers. House is *lighter* than you by a Longshot.
@@smokejc i turned 18 this year so i have vague memories of the show because i watched it with my mom when i was very young. It’s really good but the one thing i have a hard time with is how many medical plot holes there are,, like more then usual on med dramas.
I love how Hugh Laurie as the series lead, works so well with the cast... And the last scene in the surgical theatre got everyone laughing. Nice ending to the reel.
I keep trying to enjoy blooper reels but it always seems to make me uncomfortable. Like being a kid and seeing Santa on a smoke break with his beard off
