I am 66yrs old now have to walk with a walker use a mobility scooter. But oh these make me move in short bursts of fun and some energy. Far better than today's tripe. Swearing and soft porn.! I was so lucky that also brought up in My parents era of Blues Lindy hop and then I had soul funk disco. Thanks this is excellent. ❤😊

I remember Jackson Avenue in Jersey City. I attended Morgan State University in the 70's with several guys from Jersey City. One of Mike Brown brother to one of the members in Kool in the Gang. The black and Puerto Rican children use to dance all night in the gay clubs in New York City, Philadelphia, and in Washington, D.C.

Ah yes. This was when music and lyrics were methodically orchestrated by tedious backbreaking, mind melting work , taking weeks, months, or even years to completely construct the perfect song. This was done in 56 seconds from the men's room of Harry"s Pool Hall in the summer of 1991, by Leo the Gimp while intoxicated on Wild Irish Rose and Colt 45. Pure Genius.

Daddy's San Antonio on Fredericksburg Road in 1982-1983 was the best year of my life. Every Thurs, Fri, Sat night all night dancing. Best music, best DJ's, best times. I didnt have a lot of $$$ but i managed to have a blast. Met a lot of cool peeps and had tons of fun. Best music ever. Damn i miss Daddys. Its long gone but the memories live forever.
