10 years ago, the internet gave birth to a mysterious R&B crooner who surfaced the internet from the unknown, debuting a masterpiece, "House of Balloons". This was a strange and unusual sound I was unfamiliar with... but I couldn't get enough of it. Around this time, I had just begun working on my channel releasing piano arrangements when I decided to give Abel's body of work a chance. It felt raw and honest. Rather than arranging top 40 songs, I decided to arrange The Weeknd's music as I connected with his work on a musical standpoint. So in hindsight, I guess you can say there wouldn't be 'The Theorist' without The Weeknd's 'House of Balloons'. So I present you the House of Balloons Piano Medley. Thank you Abel for inspiring this pianist and getting me to where I am today. Thank you to Doc McKinney and Illangelo for producing an incredible album I hold dearly til this day. And thank you, the supporters who have stuck with me since I began this journey. XO 'till we overdose. Enjoy.
Oh well I just realized I've been listening to your covers for eight years now and I just want to thank you. There's a lot of times I'm feeling down and your covers make me want to sing along and I don't know, you're just amazing, I love you. Keep doing what you love and xotwod.
for me it's house of balloons it's less about relationships and more about the deep feels but the knowing is about him getting cheated on by a girl and pretending that it doesn't hurt but it does even though he did the same thing as her in the past so i guess it is emotional to a level.

I’ve been playing piano for about 12 years now and I’ve been watching your videos ever since you made that cover of Partynextdoor’s Kehlani’s Freestyle and I just want to let you know how much of an impact you’ve had on me. You’re the reason why I started to love piano as much as I do now. The Weeknd is my favourite artist and you are the one who introduced me to his music. I‘ve bought all of your sheet music of his songs plus so much more. To this day I still play your cover of Young and Beautiful every time I sit down to play. You really have played such a big part in my love for piano and music over the years. You’ve grown so much since then and I can’t wait to see what else you do, your talent is amazing and thank you so much for sharing it with us all🤍
Thank you man. Really means a lot and I do remember you supporting for quite a while and still amazes me you're still here til this day showing love on my videos! Appreciate it bro
I’ve been subbed to you for such a long time ago and found you through your cover of Marvins Rooms years and years ago. Saw that you were also a massive fan of The Weeknd and the Hip-Hop/RnB scene back then so I had to subscribe. Now you have more than a million subscribers and made this awesome tribute so I guess its come full circle. Keep doing you brother, it’s honesty amazing!
Thank you SO much for making this! I have always loved your covers, but the fact that you appreciate Abel's music so much as well really means a lot. I'm going to listen to this on repeat for sure.

The whole set was brilliant. At first I was confused about why you chose to play them out of order but it was orchestrated beautifully. I think closing with The Party & The After Party was the right choice. Thank you!

The Knowing, doeu lá dentro. Lamento tantas pessoas desconhecerem o tamanho do talento e profundidade emocional estão nas musucas de The Weeknd, ele é brilhante, na composição, inspiração, voz, sonoridade, identidade visual, conceitos.
My first ever video from you that I’ve seen and boy, it did not disappoint. I’ve seen you all around music notes, when I would take piano lessons as a kid, but I was looking for someone to cover HOB, and I was astounded by this piece of work. I hope you’re able to read this, and thank you so much. XOTWOD 💙
I just wanted to say I'm so proud of you ! I remember you covered some of the weeknd's song when you started your youtube channel. You've come so far (,:
