People complain about rhaenyra so much lol. 1) The adaptation from books to screen is so good especially in s2. 2) Emma D'arcy is a fantastic actor. 3) The initial episodes of her character are bland for a reason. She literally is clueless in the books too before the dance starts. 4) There are chapters in the book where rhaenyra rises to victory and then we see her downfall. Those are the major plot in the dance of the dragons where we can rhaenyra going through so much of emotions. So the best is yet to come.

I'm Team Black, but unless I've missed something, Rhaenyra doesn't need to be ruler of Westeros to fulfill the prophecy of the Prince that was Promised. The prophecy was that a Targaryen needed to be on the throne at that time, and she and Aegon both fit the bill fine. So she IS doing it just for a crown. (Though also possibly to save the realm from a shitty king, but mass destruction doesn't seem to be a fair trade, so....?)

Finally!!!! This 3 episodes have been slow af

People be forgetting that Aegon not wanting the throne was insane luck for Rhae, because most would'vs start a civil war for the throne, but even so the war is inevitable bcse of Aegon's descendants, and people always trying to put Rhae down if they don't like her reign. Remember that Rhae only has the support of the North (lowly populated) and the Vale, + 60/70 % of the Riverlands and 20/30 % of the Reach. Aegon has all the rest (2 big cities, +kings landing), most of the reach and the westerlands the most powerful kingdoms and the stormlands. If we speak of population/power, the Realm is truly split in two. Keeping a girl heir when you have 3 sons is truly stupid, Viserys is an idiot, all that because he regrets killing his wife.. I am honestly quite angry at how the show paint the greens (Aegon letting his son at a human zoo) and the blacks not killing laenor but setting him free. It shoud be as neutral as possible so that we can have more sympathy with the greens, considering that we met Rhae first and are biased with her. Plus I am so angry at her not having this fire that burns in her 'tell my have brother that i will have my trhone of i will have his head' where it that iconic quote ? And Alicent being all gooffy not wanting to be a part of Aegon's coronation LMAO

If Vhagar is on the battle field, does that mean we will be seeing another dragon and its rider die? (Idk if i spelt the name right)

How much would they change from the books? My understanding is that Rhaenyra never rides any dragon other than Syrax. But for there is at least one promo they showed, a giant dragon's head or face emerging from behind Rhaenyra, most likely Vermithor as he is the only other dragon close to Vhagar in size. Does that mean she'll ride Vermithor to war?

What I like about this adaptation is that it doesn't need to be 100% accurate to the books because they are told through the lense of unreliable narrators, but we see how the actions in the show can be percieved in their book counterpart from outside perspectives.

honestly both sides are far too tame as of right now. Rhae lost her son and we should honestly believe that she wants to make peace with alicent. Same goes for her. She recently lost her grandson but she is still calm. I wish they would potray rhae and alicent like in the books with all their faults

Alicent is unbearable. Deamon started a war in the stepstones if someone had crept into the Red Keep and killed Rheanyra it is more than possible Viserys would have done something extreme. Aegons child/heir was killed in their bed infront of their mother….I thought this was GOT

im confused? HOTD is a prequel that happened so all happened years before GOT , right? So all of Westeros, the North et al used to be a cosmopolitan multi-ethnic/multi-cultural urbane modern utopic diverse tolerant society and then did something happen for it to revert to a monoculture like mid-evil England or japan,china, iran ,russia,congo etc etc etc today ? ...is there some big racial genocide in the books before fire and Ice?

I bet in the trailer we saw every second where there will be a dragon on screen. 🙄 We only see them for a few seconds in every episode... The plot is slow and boring. Im not impressed with this new season.
