The story so far... Born in the winter of 86 A.C., Elric was nothing more than a peasant boy. He never had the chance to meet his father, for the love that he shared with Elric's mother lasted not more than a single night. Raised on the Seal Shore, Elric faced many harsh winters with little food or comfort. In 91 A.C., when Elric was just 5 years of age, his mother suddenly passed from sickness, leaving the young boy to fend for himself. With no parents and nothing to his name, begging for food and shelter became the norm. Most would ignore his desperation, however, as they could barely afford to feed their own families, let alone help another. Sleeping under the docks and stealing the odd fish here and there became a daily practice. Being a young boy, Elric was caught often and beaten by the locals for his thieving ways. Sometimes he would fight back, but this often made things worse. In 101 A.C., when he turned 15, Elric joined the local village guard. For the first time in many years, he was able to eat and sleep under a roof. Most of his time was spent dealing with petty squabbles, stopping thieves that resembled his younger self, and keeping an eye out for poachers. He would still go hungry most days, but at least he had shelter and the warmth of a fire. Many years later, in 106 A.C., Elric was searching for clams in the shallows as he often did early in the day. But on this day, there was an ominous fog in the air. As he was searching the shallows, he heard a distant, almost painful screech, yet deep enough that it sent a slight ripple across the sea. Many did not discuss the islands of Skagos, believing them to be a place of evil, with many of the smallfolk telling stories about the islands, none of them good. But something compelled Elric on this day as he looked across the water. He felt fear, as he rightly should have, but Elric had dealt with fear for most of his life. Spotting a small boat on the coast near to where he was, Elric set out across the sea, through the fog, and towards the islands of Skagos. As he rowed closer, the fog only grew denser until he could barely see 20 meters ahead of him. Every now and then, there would be a chill gust, and ripples would spread across the water's surface, which he used to guide himself. Eventually, he arrived at one of the smaller islands known as Ber Skurt. As he clambered onto the island, the chill in the air only grew more harsh. In the distance, through the fog and snow, he could see the outline of what he assumed to be a small mountain. As Elric waded closer through the snow, he saw a cave at the mountain's base. Somehow, he knew that this was the source of what compelled him. As he crept deeper into the cave, the air only got colder, the light more sparse. That is when he finally saw it...
I think a cool feature would just that having a dragon would up the marriage acceptance since I doubt a dragonlord's choice of spouses should be so lacking
Very surprised you went with white for Suvion ! I think the black may have clutched it with the amount of dragons that are a similar white, which I didn't expect! Glad af you went with the unicorn, though. It slaps.
It was a tough choice, for my next custom playthrough I will have to do a black dragon for sure, maybe black with a blue hue, starting in the Stormlands
@JBDGaming That sounds amazing. Was playing TW WH3 earlier and lightning striking tf out of everyone. Lightning strike would make a sick name for a dragon in the storm lands.
Also I think you should inbreed but not extremely close relatives because he grew up in the north where incest is a sin but his blood tells him to keep the bloodline as strong as possible to ensure the strength of his dynasty
First off, I’m very excited for the series, it’s going into interesting places and i’m ready for the ride, on the back of a dragon. Here’s my name suggestion for both the accolade and your children. Accolade: the Dragonfeeder (one who hunts pray to feed Suvion or any other dragons). Boy: Dragard (Prowess Education) Girl: Elaenys (Stewardship Education)
I hope this is going to be an extremely long playthrew! I've been waiting so long to see a dragon rider run since AGOT mod came out for ck3! Loving this playthrew! 200/10!
Name suggestions: Boy: Fafnyr: (from Fafnir, a dragon from Norse mythology who was greedy) -stewardship Girl: Lykn: (from Leikn, a she-giant from Norse mythology who was a trickster) -Intrigue
I honestly love that you made your character an Old Gods worshipper with a dragon. If you're a fan of David Lightbringer you'll probably know what I'm talking about but the Old Gods feel like the one GoT religion with the closest thing to an actual god that exists in that universe, even if it is just the Weirwood hivemind of Greenseers and Wargs that Varamyr Sixskins goes to when he dies. R'hlorrism could literally just be (and probably is) blood magic: fire edition with no Lord of Light overseeing it all. The visions in the flames could just be visions of places and events near fires, the Fire Wights like Beric are probably just magically resurrected and not religiously resurrected (like by a god if that makes sense), etc etc. If anyone besides Valyrians should be able to tame dragons, it should be worshippers of the Old Gods. The Wildlings even venerate redheads by calling them, "kissed by fire", which sounds a lot like the R'hlorr kiss of life that Thoros of Myr and Beric can both do. I highly implore you to check out David Lightbringer's channel because it's one of the greatest channels there is, honestly, and even just the little bit of his theories that I could think of right now kinda fit a few of the pieces of the first Long Night together
I must say the devs are the real beasts they have put a lot of punch into this man. Excited for this would like to know when we can get our hands on this.
@@NeakTheMeakI honestly have a lot one is I am the full sister to Rhaenrya and I claim the cannibal the other is my friends and I are making our own house and dragons and just trying to marry our kids to the Targaryens and stuff
I love your vids man 😁 I've been with you since your house Dayne series and you've only gotten better and better. Keep up the great work 👍👍 oh also for a name suggestion for a male: Dæmyn with a prowess education
Son: Kerrek (Martial) Daughter: Chelyrra (Learning) Their education isnt too important, so if Kerr is pensive, you dont have to choose martial Can't wait to see the series! Very happy you made a custom character/house!
Son name: Torren - Martial Daughter name: Elara - Learning Absolutely love the new series, I am so excited to binge the episodes. Love the concept and the storyline that you created!
How intriguing! Accolade: The Frostbite Son: Eldraed, Martial Daughter: Cirlae, Intrigue Given your inbreeding potential I suggest upping the cousin marriages as a way to reconcile customs. Though if you can have second wives/husbands or concubines perhaps marrying some of them together. I also recommend allying with anyone who has a female dragon to increase your odds of getting eggs. Good luck!
Son name: Drake, Martial focus I love these series you have made me sink my teeth into ck and thanks to the House Rayne series I had a crack at AGoT and am loving it
This is the big series we have been waiting for. Son name - Torren - martial. Daughter name - Sarah - diplomacy. Also - accolade name suggestions - The blade of winter
Name: Alaric, focus Knowledge Potential young smart dragon-knight. Whole of Body should help with all the dragon related injuries! Great video! Thanks you for the day 1 embargo upload. Keep them coming!
Boy: Helbrecht, a martial/prowess education to help his father lead armies for the future of the realm. Girl: Sieglinde, an intrigue education to help the family by stopping plots and being a strong source of plot power loyal to her family.
Boy Im so excited for this update, I havent been this thrilled for something since starcraft 2 expansions. I mean the devs outdid themselves, this dragons look so awesome and it has so much depth.
Son name: Daekar-martial focus or prowess Symion- prowess or diplomacy Theon- leadership or learning Daughters: Lucena- intrigue or Stewardship Vhanys- martial or diplomacy
I feel like you should change your coat of arms to a white dragon, especially if Elric made it himself. Why would he base his sigil off of a dragon that looks nothing like his own?
So excited to get my hands on this update, and to see everyone's new playthroughs. If I can get a daughter named Cymoril with Diplomacy focus A son named Sadric with learning
Accolades: The Frozen Heart of Wynter Black Frost The Blue Diamond of Suvion Wynter's Grace The Glacial Giant Storme of Solace Dragon Names: Frostibite Api Biru (Indonesian: Blue Lava) Uvios Aevrior Niaroi Syrvayrie
Son name: - Beren (didnt get first palce in vote in stream so he should get chance now :D), lifestyle - leadership daughter name: - Erys, lifestyle - martial or prowess
Hi JBD, wish you good playthrough. What do you think about the name of the second acolyte "Rainthrower" for the rain of arrows that will fall on the enemies ? For the children name sugestions i wish to name a boy "Khoryv" with an learning focus and a doughter " Mara", martial focus.
When/if the dance of the dragons begins, do you think you'll pick a side? Or let them destroy each other and capitalize on the chaos? The possibilities are endless!
