There is a house in New Orleans They call the Rising Sun And it′s been the ruin of many a poor boy And God, I know I'm one My mother was a tailor She sewed my new blue jeans My father was a gamblin′ man Down in New Orleans Now the only thing a gambler needs Is a suitcase and a trunk And the only time he's satisfied Is when he's on a trump Oh mother, tell your children Not to do what I have done Spend your lives in sin and misery In the House of the Rising Sun Well, I got one foot on the platform The other foot on the train I′m goin′ back to New Orleans To wear that ball and chain Well, there is a house in New Orleans They call the Rising Sun And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy And God, I know I′m one
Excellent sounds with so many layers!! Best backing track I've heard 😉. May I have your permission to use a short piece of the track for my harmonica assignment please? I'll add your name onto the credit. Tip for sure 😊. Merci beaucoup Hui-yen
I love your version of the house of the rise of sun. I would like to use it and put some more tracks with it to saying would it be OK for me to use it? And if I put it on RU-vid, I will definitely give you credit for the track. I would like permission to do so.
First of all, thank you and God Bless you for all your work. I am a beginner can I use this? I am confused about what to play, the chords or the AM Penta? What is the meaning of the color change?
Hey Giovanni, thank's for your post, you can can either play the rythm with the chords, or improvise with the Am scale, if you want to go further, play the F sharp note on the D chord, and the G sharp note on the E chord, the color code is yellow for the intro, green for the verse, blue for the pre chorus and red for the chorus, have fun with your guitar😉
Hello Ian, the C scale is CDEFGAB, and when you have a E chord insted of a Em chord the scale become EFG#ABCD wich is an E Phrygian dominant, try an F# on the D chord you will be surprised, have fun
Hello synthlord, my first chord is made with A C E notes so i think it's an Am chord, and the scale is wth a C note, so i think it's minor, but if you want to chorus with an A scale, why not, have fun with your guitar😀
This is wrong. Almost every version, including the one of the Animals, has a short instrumental part between verses. I'm baffled by the fact that noone seems to get that right...
Thank's for your post Daniel and what you say is true, but it's just a backing track, and to chorus with this music it was more simple to adapt the structure, have fun
@@onlineguitarlaurentrougemo5285 But unfortunately when i look for a backing track i kinda would like for it to be correct. This version is missing a part, so not very usable for practice.
@@R20set I understand your point of view, and I'm sure you'll find a backing track of this song that suits you, thank you for your comment and have fun with your guitar
