For me, I remember exactly where I was when I learned of the 9/11 attacks, when my father and grandfather died, when Princess Diana died and when Queen Elizabeth II died. Isn't that interesting? Even as an American The Royal Family has left a significant impression.

There's something about George VI that's both tragic and extremely poetic. Seriously could you for a second imagine britian in Edward regins during world war ii something tells me he'd be like " oh you can have my country as long as me and Wallis are still king and queen" Edwards father should have asked parliament to skip him because his gut feeling was right all along! But also I can never really fault George vi for smoking or drinking alcohol because if it was my job to sit on knowledge that the a bomb was being built men were dying children suffering I'd don't know if I could handle that without meds myself
