House on a Hill marks Amanda Lindsey’s second album with Bethel music, a sequel to her debut album Brave New World in 2015. Echoing Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God,” the album was birthed through discovering the gentle voice of God, leading us into His peace and joy that stays constant and confident, giving all of our minutes and moments a purpose. God must be doing something with me... I'm in a really hard season of not feeling worthy of the love of God, or rather feeling that God is angry with me and my shortcomings. I prayed last night for Him to show me that He loves me. I'm in tears at work. y'all, God IS who He says He is.

God's love for does not depend on your good works or righteousness but rather pegged on the finished work of the cross of Jesus. So cheer up and know you are loved consistently by God despite your failures.

This song brings me to tears. So very powerful, anointed, piercing to the heart word by word. Jesus is always here for us even when we don't know it or see it. This song is perfect for not only the body of Christ but even for the world so they can be touched by this powerful song. Jesus loves never fails. I’m at the end of a long season that started October 2017. I was lost, I was alone literally in my new house up on a hill! I joked that I was a like a princess locked up in her castle. I was just so sad. I started to worship and I felt breakthrough. It’s been a long journey and now I’m starting to see when God met me there and when He pulled me out of the pit that was my brokenness. Amanda, thank you for this album. I needed this to remind me of what God did. He is so faithful and loving.

I have never heard of this song until tonight and it's only because I dreamed of a woman singing this to me well I was sleeping and I just woke up because I couldn't get the " house on a hill" part out of my head. I have been praying to the Lord and I dream of a woman singing a song I've never heard before in my life.
