Facts, most of them are laughing at this and recording when someone could have gotten seriously injured or worse...it's sad how insensitive people can be.

It's a small ass fire, it's not like the entire room is covered in flames. It can easily be extinguished if you have half a brain. Always have an extinguisher in your home, doesn't matter whether or not you think you'll need it. Besides that, what do you expect these people to do? Call the police? What are they going to say? "Hey, I'm on omegle and someone's house is on fire. What's their address? Hell if i know". There's nothing these people could actually do to help the situation besides stating the obvious.

Even if the stranger does call, the police probably can't even do anything because they'd be calling the police from a different area. There's just no world where telling a stranger on the internet your address and patiently waiting for them to call the police is faster or more efficient than doing it yourself.

Plus it's easier to keep fighting the fire while on the phone than it is while typing. The only thing that can be done to help is record it for their insurance claim

In fairness to some of the others, we know laughter is actually one of the most common reactions to shock. It isn't until you've had a bit longer time to process the seriousness of the event that normal people who aren't taking joy in the disaster will change their tune and go from laughing to super serious. Even goes for when it affects you, you can 100% burst out laughing when you see your OWN house is on fire, and it doesn't mean you're happy, it's the shock. Some of the people though like the ones who said "Let's watch it burn" just didn't seem to care though and I hope that they recognised the video/knew it was fake, because if not that's kinda sad. Then again, it being Omegle, I would probably expect it to be staged. Though personally I would still tell them to get the fuck out of there and call the fire brigade. Much better to be the subject of a prank than be wrong and not help someone who could be in danger.
