The wonderful house reef of the Malikia Resort in Abu Dabbab Bay near Marsa Alam offers great snorkelling and diving at one of the most beautiful bays and house reefs in the Red Sea. It is possible to reach the reef via the jetty or via the sandy beach in the bay. The entrance via the jetty is too sheltered in an indentation of the reef, so that it is possible to dive there even in windy and wavey conditions. There you will find a beautiful coral garden with lots of fish and all kinds of sea creatures. The entrance via the beach of Abu Dabbab is also well protected and sea turtles and various other marine animals can be observed in the bay overgrown with seagrass or on the house reef.
The diving centre of Diving.de is only a short distance from Abu Dabbab beach and the equipment is brought to the jetty by car. The dive centre also offers divers Zodiac trips to the outer reef or full-day dives to more remote dive sites.
