In my province we have been taught that scents hurt the vulnerable, mostly young, elderly or immune compromised or those being treated so our public spaces are SCENT FREE.

Wow, his mother looks like she was the coolest woman with immensely good taste. The apartment is beautifully done and they are very lucky to have the outdoor area. I like that they use the antiques and pieces from family unlike many young people who don't want their parents things.

Fabulous place ! I love the decor and the guys, as well. Its nice that Blake was so close to his mother...she had exquisite taste. This place, although in NYC, has the polished, electic vibe of true, old-money, Philadelphia Main Line.

I love this home tour, just when I thought I had a homeworthy favorite this one comes along. I felt as if I was at the most interesting interior design class ever. I love the way each art piece was so elegantly explained such a beautiful home it warmed my heart. Oh and can't forget Mason de puea and a couple of glasses of rose'. The biggest smile ever on a empty Tuesday.

Allison, you keep hitting it out of the park with each home tour! This home was a treasure and you could tell how dear each piece object was to the owners which is what a home is all about. Its all about surrounding yourself with things that you love and memories of people and places. Well done, look forward to more of such homes.

Wonderful, I am an Achitect who retired and live in a beautiful Victorian Mansion on the first floor comprising some 1800 SF. I have filled it with art from the Guilded Age period and how the house would have been decorated in 1890 by the folks who first lived there. The original owners were a wealthy Jewish family who were originally born in the 1840's! They are buried in the oldest Jewish cemetery in Louisville. I love knowing the history of my house!! I loved your personal tour and beautifully appointed house!!

Neither my husband nor I have ever had a tv-we read and talk to each other, or work on hobbies. This is a gorgeous apartment with so many wonderful treasures. The homeowner’s mother was a beautiful woman, and I imagine she had the most amazing stories about her travels. Thank you for sharing this lovely couple and their home!

A beautifully curated space. I adore the stories behind so many of the pieces. And I especially love the mix and use of color. Too many today use a neutral palette and beige is NOT a color.

Normally I’m not interested in looking at a home that has so much furniture and decor pieces. However I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the tour of this beautiful home. I enjoyed learning about the provenance of the art, furniture etc. I appreciate how masterfully everything works together, that’s talent! What a tremendous blessing to have inherited so much beautiful furniture, artwork, rugs etc from his mother! Thank you for your sharing your beautiful home with us.

This is so special that you included so many family heirlooms into your apartment. The apartment may be small but it lives like a large home. Thank God, finally a designer that doesn’t have gray on gray on gray square boring furniture. I love 💕 your space. When you pulled out the gold flatware I almost fainted, to own such a piece of history! I’m from the south and your job on the mantle is spot on, it just says “Well hello there, I have good taste and class”.

Luv luv luv the sofas! the color is so fresh. I have a very similar color palette with yellow walls, red Persian rugs, cherry furniture, and golden oak flooring. My sofa is in that hue of green, but more of a mossy green. I prefer the spring green shade of yours.

The perfect quartet of interior design-a tastefully curated collection of both inherited and acquired objects that spoke to the owners, a beautiful space-appropriate presentation with perfect lighting, an intelligent integration of new & antique furnishings making it both beautiful and livable, and an uncommon restraint in allowing each object both its own space and negative space around it with no overcrowding. When i saw the mural of his former home I had a strong feeling of deja vu. My father had a studio apartment a block from Blake's childhood home. My father's place was filled with paintings my father done during his time as a bohemian in mid 1960's Greenwich village. I'd visit and loved to hang out as a teen on Samson street and Rittenhouse Square

I loved every room in their aparment, I just purchased a small apartment here in ny with a galley kitchen and love his rug runner, gonna copy that for warmth and color. Fabulous video!

"Gentleman traveler" style is an apt description. Blake gets a lot of credit for the interior design and for styling objects and art, but only partial credit for collecting, since many or most of his pieces are inherited.
