She’s amazing! Great mix of patterns, colors, and art - without being overwhelming. This was so much more interesting than most of the mainstream, bland design that’s so popular today. She’s an artist.
I've really been wondering about how to create a timeless design without using a traditional style. Your use of layering seems to be the natural answer! Brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing your design and xpertise, Ms. Colding!
Looks great! Color works and keeps you unique. Im into color myself and how nice she added the Uprise Art, tip. I just may find my original paintings there! Thanks
Wow! that was brilliant design. Unexpected pieces that somehow make for a cozy, dynamic, fun take on modern. I am no expert but there is something magical about that space. Thank you for highlighting a "fresh and so clean, clean" design.
A bit too much for me, but hey, that's why I subscribe to this channel, to see unique houses with a lot of personalities, instead of just white/beige boxes like other channels
It’s a no from me. I don’t know, overall it looks too random and grim. Maybe my taste needs to catch-up. I like the bar though and appreciate the uniqueness.
I'm confused- the kitchen is downstairs, but the dining room is on the next floor? Also, while I'm a fan of the modern design and mixing some traditional w/modern, there's way too much bold graphic design on graphic in one space, like the powder room. It gives the impression of trying too hard. That said, design is personal & what matters is what the client wants.
Sorry but it just feels "DESIGNED". And there's a reason I capitalized that word. It screams "DESIGNED". Some good ideas for sure, just too much design...too much! LOL
That’s the new style. A bunch of hodge podge and random things crammed into every corner of a space. It’s not good. At all. Anyone can ‘design’ these days because things like proper spacing and cohesion are not a thing.
I thought it was just me! Everything about this made me cringe. The “designer” threw all the things SHE loves into this home. It’s not cohesive and just doesn’t work. A chandelier in front of the TV? That funeral home runner up the steps? You can see the carpet lint on screen. There’s so much wrong with it. Where do you even begin?
