She is a delightful mix of old world elegance and down to earth Midwest vibe, and her paintings are great. She is so clever that the tiny apartment can showcase so many interesting things with a clever use of colors. Whatever she does, she has a great future ahead because she's smart, beautifully put together, and has a confident likeable personality.
@@tiffanycurtis4794 If you lived in NYC you would know that you do find lots of great stuff on the streets, that people leave when cleaning out places.
@tiffanycurtis When my daughter moved out of the UES she tossed a few pieces of her grandmother’s mid century furniture that she no longer wanted …, including a Georges Briard snack/cocktail table. The doorman said that they were all picked up within an hour. There are a lot of treasures to be found on the streets.
I love this apartment. This is a woman after my own heart - and she is so young. It took me 50 years to be this confident in my artistic eye and being able to curate and display my personal aesthetic. I could move into her place tomorrow and be quite happy. If I were in New York I would definitely hire her to help me redesign my own spaces, not because I can't but because I would be interested in her perspective. It's rare to acknowledge that you can learn things from the young. In Natalie's case I would look forward to the opportunity.
Love how Natalie’s small space was not cluttered, yet she still had all her collectibles and favorite items displayed. She is an old soul and well traveled young lady, not to mention quite an artist. She is someone I would totally love hanging out with despite the fact that I could be her mother! Plus it sounds like she has a great close relationship with her father, as she mentions him often. Great home tour and thanks for sharing your home!😂
So simple and elegant! The taste level is outstanding. You've managed to display the things you love while avoiding clutter, so the balance is perfect. And I love that there are no cookie-cutter trends! Gorgeous!
What a beautiful and well thought out apartment. I love that Natalie's home it is so gorgeous yet it is budget friendly. Natalie is so talented and real. She's an old soul who has a very bright future. Homeworthy, you're my favorite because you allow us get to know the people who live in these beautiful homes. I always look forward to when you drop new videos.
Natalie did a wonderful job making one room into a bedroom, living room, and dining space. I love that she added fringe to the bottom of the sofa and a border to the drapes. Now they are one of a kind. Also, I love her outfit. Makes me want to wear a heavy sweater and a printed skirt to work tomorrow. Thank you for some great ideas for decorating.
I adore this gals quirky style and insistence on making her space her own, no matter what is “in style”, etc. I think she truly instructs us on what is home.
So lovely! And such a great use of space. Really inspires me to to rethink some of my own spaces. I love that she has an affinity for 'old' people , as I do also!
She's done a beautiful job with her apartment. It's pretty, functional, and so obviously her own. I hope she's enjoying this wonderful time in her life.
Natalie, just absorb all the helpful comments that were delivered with kindness and trash the rest. You are doing just fine, and your apartment cheers the senses!
Great comment! There are always a bunch of complainers willing to share their two cents, but you don't see them offering up their homes to be critiqued by the entire world, do you? I'm an older woman and didn't even register her use of "old people" until I read the comments. I rolled my eyes at that. I was too focused on her story and home to care a whit. Lol
Natalie is lovely! Her home is a true reflection of her soul. I enjoy how these renters still have the desire to make their spaces a sanctuary, and they’re very successful at doing so. Thank you Homeworthy & Natalie for sharing your gorgeous apartment!
I love to see small, cozy & tastefully decorated apartments. I think that many people live in a few square meters and have no problem. For a single person, even for a couple, this space is ideal!👌
Lovely! An easy candle jar Is simply putting the candle in the freezer for a few hours, take it out and everything comes out in one piece, it's brilliant!
What a sweet girl she reminds me of my granddaughter. I am a 72 year old from Massachusetts and thank you for the compliment.❤❤ love your style, and I love your apartment❤
I love the way Natalie has styled her apartment with vintage finds and other quirky items. Her space is very neat and collected. One suggestion -- she may want to cover that fuse box with a painting or picture. Those fuse boxes are eyesores for sure! Other than that, everything else is marvelous!
What a beautiful apartment. One of my favorites! Thank you for sharing your space Natalie and thank you Homeworthy for another video. They are all such a treat!
I love your respect for older pieces and your fun quirky style. You are very intentional in your decorating. You believe, as I do, that If you love something it will fit in your home.
Natalie! Such a beautiful space! You are so talented and I love that I got to take a peek into your life/space since Zach and I haven’t made it to see you, yet.
Ohhh…she probably didn’t. I remember I used to say I’m “cheap” when I was young until an older lady said “dearie you’re ‘frugal’, never say you’re cheap”. I thanked her and never said it again!
And so wonderful that she’s articulate and speaks without connectors or vocal fry. I like it when I can watch these videos without having them on mute.
Natalie, you managed to make your favorite things come together & have amazing harmony! My grandmother used to have those basket purses & OMG I remember she would bring ziploc bags when we would go out to eat & bring things home with her before it was ‘acceptable’ to bring home leftovers hahaha! She was extra. Also LOVE the way you have organized your studio apartment. I could NEVER do that so elegantly! ❤
OMG, this GenZer is such a breath of fresh air cause she clearly has an old soul. I lived in NYC for years and go back often to visit. I have only ever heard that generation wanting to live in Brooklyn, specifically Williamsburg. UES is furtherest thing from their mind (and mine, to tell the truth- I was on West Side/Harlem), so good for her not wanting to be a cliche.
I have a lithograph of the inside of an old church in england. I do think its valuable, so now it takes pride of place on my wall. Love your wall of lithographs..what a find..
I LOVE IT. YOUR HAPPY HOME IS DARLING. you can get a big board that can have all of your matches displayed. The are a wonderful work of art. Don’t say that you steal stuff. You are too classy. Thank you for sharing. Hang up more paintings all the way down to the floor. Hugs from Carolyn in Columbus ga. I was born in Wisconsin also❤
My favourite items were those box purses from Dorset Rex. They were too stunning to be hidden in the cupboard. Maybe they could be displayed on the antique dresser next to the shells. Unless they would probably collect dust. Really are stunning pieces and great that not only does Natalie collect them, but also uses them. They are simply gorgeous. I would have loved to see the inside of the bags. Thank you Natalie and Homeworthy. Love from sunny Sydney, Australia.
Great minds think alike...we share the same train of thought in regard to our living space...our little living space..I thrift shop (fixed income) and often these finds speak to me so I bring em home with me and I'm surrounded with beautiful, curious, quirky items, pillows, old books, frames and prints and colors. I have added a detail(s) painted a design on my sofa fabric and curtain panels to my liking, I DIY...my style that's me only...and most find it interesting in my almost junk treasures ...I heard once that creativity is intellegance taking a day off. Thanks for sharing your super duper, very nice, beautiful home. Byeeee amiga for now....
My apartment is a bit larger with two main rooms (kitchen and bath of course), but still cozy. I turned the bedroom into a parlor/computer room. I chose a twin bed, so that seating could dominate the space. Plus, twin linen costs less. The combination of unmatched textiles gives the space charm and an un-decorated appeal, which is very old world, old money and in my opinion upscale. She could shop for me, and I wouldn't need to approve of anything, except wall art, which for me is far more personal.
She “swipes” to many things. I’ll be sure to keep her out of my house! Fun drinking game, tho…take a shot for every time you hear “absolutely,” or “absolutely adore.”
Thanks, I'm very glad to see that an amazing home and its charming owner. I'd like to mark especially her cozy things as the refrigerator's "decor", the lunch box and beautiful earns, of course and at last , an artificial skirt of our mistress.
Such a lovely space; love her collections and that they are so meaningful. Love hearing the stories of procurement! Would have loved to see the bathroom...
@@starveartist Yeah! Exactly! I just watched another video recently of a home tour and the guy....wait a minute! It was another Homeworthy tour and was just on her best 6 living rooms of 2022 video or something like that. I'm pretty sure. And THAT dude admitted to swiping things too. I think it was a monkey ashtray or something. Does anyone else remember?
This is what I’m looking for, a modest home instead of seeing something so large and expensive… unrealistic. I’m more impressed by a chef who can make something great with what they have instead of a chef who has everything at their disposal.
Tip. To remove the end of candles from containers. Put them in the freezer and they literally pop out in one piece almost every time. Then wash the glass. I do it all the time too and use votives.
Love all of her pieces! They are all unique and give the small apartment such personality. She really has a great sense of style. By the way, would love to know what nail polish she uses. It's beautiful!
I live in a nice space that I’ve decorated. Most of the time I love it, but when I watch these it makes me want to change everything. Then I get over it. lol
Natalie…..I just LOVE your precious home and you are beautiful and adorable…I was born in Madison Wisconsin 70 years ago…may I offer a suggestion for your place please? I have a small place also and I hang pictures all the way down to the baseboards….people just go crazy when they see it….I had a glass bookcase like yours with big books on it…my husband told me that was too much weight on the shelves…it broke last week…I hate it when he is right….why don’t you display those precious purses on those shelves and that pretty watercolor of the girl needs to be out on your fuse box with one of your cute magnets….let me know what you think…you are a smart girl and never said UM like all the others do….you need your own tv show….ADORABLE…hugs from carolyn in Columbus GA
She’s charming and although she cramped in her apartment, I think she has a good eye for collecting interesting items. I didn’t like her swiping, another word for stealing. Not very becoming of someone so lovely🌺
I do love the completeness of her apartment; that's what makes it feel cozy and interesting. Pattern-wise and color-wise it feels a bit 'all over the place'...for my taste anyway.
