It's been 16years I am married. Aur Aaj Tak aisa ek bhi din nhi gaya that I am working with my daily routine n my husband is relaxing. Office se thak ke aane ke baad bhi wo meri help karne kitchen me ghus jate hai.. and I can proudly say that ye meri mother in law ki di hui sanskar hai. Before my marriage woh apni mummy ko bhi aise help karte the. Aur Mera beta 7th standard me padta hai, woh bhi chala ata hai mujhe help karne.. I am teaching him every household work, jaise uske papa ko ata hai sab❤❤ and this is the best lesson I have received without any teaching, from my mother in law❤❤

Very VERY true. I work. AND take care of the house. I go out to work and my husband works from home. Even then, he waits till I return in the evenings and asks for dinner. He finishes work at 5:00 PM and by the time I return, it is 7:00. It is exhausting. Any chores he does is a "favour" to me. But, anything I do is my duty. This needs to change at the roots. Mothers need to teach their children.

I can relate myself with this so much. My schedule was also like this. I overworked in my husband's house, looked after his mother like my own mother. But my husband always humiliated me saying that my job was incomeless . I got fed up with his mental abuse everyday. Ultimately whn he started his physical abuse, i had to step out. Now im living independently with my children. Its pathetic to live with toxic people. I wasted so many years with a toxic person who always tried to make me lose my self worth.

The most thankless fulltime job on Earth is of a homemaker. Although I have been doing all these along with my job but my husband has always been helpful. 7 years back we have done away with the maids . My husband and I have taught our kids to do their work on their own and we are somehow managing wonderfully without a helper. It is more satisfying than looking at the door and waiting for the maid.

If mother in-law and father in-law are healthy enough to help in house hold chores they also should help little bit because it's keeps them busy an healthy and it's help a lot to the daughter in law. but in our society it's kind of misconceptions that if father in-law or mother in-law helps daughter in law that means daughter in law is bad ... We as society needs to change our thinking...

Bachpan se apni mumma ko ese e life jeete dekha h or ye bhi dekha h ki joint family me bhi koi unke kam ki respect nai krta....aj lhud bhi married hu but apni sasu maa husband or 4 years ki daughter ko esa mahol diya hi nai ki m naukar hu iis ghar ki or ye mujhse koi bhi kaam apne hisab se krwa skte h apne chhote chhote kaam khud karo i know inke according utni achchi bahu biwi ya maa shayad nai hu but apni nazar me m khud ki respect krti hu or ye bhut important bat h mere khush rahne ke lie so requesting all the ladies jo esa kuchh face kr rai h.... With time women progressed and started working outside of the house to make families financially better. The sad part is that woman's duties didn't become any less . In fact they became more. No matter if she is working, she is still expected to do all the household work and her job. Thinking about all this made me write a poem few years back ... "yeh sirf khana banati hai". Indian men don't bring a wife. They bring a maid for the entire family who is expected to serve them for the rest of their lives.

Do in-laws expect their daughters to do everything while rest of the family is watching TV? So unfair! I'm teaching both my sons to help family members, be kind to everyone. I taught them how to clean, share work load, make tea, cutting veggies, cleaning the floor, greet others.. And im sure my DIls would definetly appriciate me and thank me❤ I determined, I dont want to be the MIL like my MIL. She is egoistic, she says boys shall work only till their wives enter home, once they r married wives shall do work. Such cheap mindset

4:30 /5 vaje uthna, subah ka breakfast alag, tiffin mein alag,( tiffin wala raat mein chal jata hai) 2 kids, rural area mein hai, cows ka kaam, safai clothes, husband ki paas mein shop hai, 11 vaje tea deke aao, chalke, 1 vaje khana, bache school se aaye hai, unhe kuch khana hai, 4 vaje ki chai, evening mein khch khane ko snack banao, raat k khaana, bartan full day, koyi rishtedar aaya, ironing, cupboard set karo, dusting baag bagichi ka kaam........,aur bhi kayi kaam karne k baad agar bimar ho jao to, yeh sunne ko milta hai k kam khaya karo, ab do roti mein se kya kam kare? Husband ne samaan khud le k aana hai, sabzi k liye bhi paise 10 vaar maango to 100 200 milte hai, maayeke jaane k naam par ladayi, Ki si se phone par baat karo to bhi tanzz, toxic husband, daas sasur ...,...😅

My husband and two sons help me in my househd chores, my MIL also helps at 87 years old, hence in good health. mothers should train their sons and daughters from childhood to do work at home. Divide all work among all family members in rotataion so that everyone values the work and dont take it for granted.
