I wouldn't expect anything less than "To Blame It On the Rain." Big gators can be such a problem. We have them here at a papermill because of their ponds. I was hired as a student to fish for the mill one summer. Water pollution project. They had a big one that wrecked all my gear. He was close to 14' long. I caught hundreds of pounds of fish that summer; swam with the gators, and had a time of my life. Got paid $6.00/ hour with overtime to fish. Beautiful fish y'all were catching.

Use a five gallon jug as a float, (for a jug line) and bait it with an eight to twelve inch mullet, set it DEEP, and you MAY be surprised how big catfish can get.....

Your videos are so relaxing. Anytime on the water s relaxing. My Dad was born in Erath in 1917. He talked about making money gathering moss to sell for stuffing mattresses and other items. Walking the railroad line between Abbeville and Erath after hurricane flooding. His high school class planted oak trees that line the road to Erath. So many great stories about his life. I still have relatives in Abbeville that I love visiting. We have ancestors buried in the cemetery behind the Catholic Church in tow n by the courthouse. 🧓🏻🇺🇸Texas
